It is a mischaracterization of the truth and is targeted towards low-IQ people on the Left side. Trump has paused funding approvals till this month end. The objective is to review the process. Remember that Covid, that originated in a Wuhan lab, was funded by the same funding which was given to Wuhan lab in China for "gain of research". We do not want to find any more creation of these pandemics. Do you understand the basis now? It is true that a lot of valid researchable subjects also get affected. But it is not any long term damage to them because it is a temporary measure to ensure that our system does not fund another pandemic inadvertently.
