Even if there are no inherent physical differences for something, the top men will always be more competitive and more willing to autistically dedicate their entire life to mastering one pointless niche skill. There are more men who will do that than there are women, so any competitive niche will always be dominated by men when without physical advantage.

And this is why surgical residencies shouldn’t limit hours and should weed out those who don’t have the mental toughness and endurance to be a surgeon. Emergencies have no schedule. We have recruited and trained “shift workers” over the last 20yrs. I don’t want to hear about we must have well rested surgeons. If you have been living in LA for years, the cold is going to really impact you bigtime. YES, it will impact players who played in the sunshine all their careers MORE, but all the players who currently live in the moderate climates are impacted.....
