@TiffaniMarie483 If the period exists in the quoted portion, I put it in quotes. If it’s quoting something not punctuated, like in reference, I put the period outside the quote

When I’m using quotes but have to end the sentence, where do I put the period?
Would it be “quote”.

Ok fashion police.. I bought a pair of Levi Strauss high rise wide leg jeans.. says ankle length. Didn’t pay attention to the length specifically … I know the trend is for the pant to be kinda high water right now.. is that ankle length? Should I return them to get a longer leg? I didn’t realize how well being a natural speed eater would fit perfectly into parental life.
Even when husband has the baby, I will inhale an entire thanksgiving dinner plate size helping of chicken & pasta in about a minute.
It’s not pretty… but it’s who I am.
