Fun fact: In the first 24 hours, customers from 70+ countries have paid with stablecoins through @Stripe Today, we just expanded access, so if you're a US merchant on Stripe, check your Stripe dashboard and turn on "Pay with Crypto"!

agents can send physical mail for you now via mpp thru services like @postalform through @stripe 👀 cool to see this type of real-world payments orchestration in action

Demo time! 🤖💸🎉 Here's @stevekaliski, @BackseatVC, and their agent (with a wallet) throwing together an actual birthday party. To accomplish this fun task, the agent autonomously researches, requests, and pays multiple businesses on Stripe via MPP. Note: No hands on keyboard

Agents can just BUY things Here's how you can use an agent-managed Privy wallet to make purchases in a Stripe checkout flow The agent payments design space is opening up FAST, and being a part of Stripe gives us a front row seat as all the building blocks come together 🦾
Privy@privy_io

1/ Every Friday, we ship to make building on Privy better. Today: we’re showing how Privy wallets + x402 + @stripe machine payments unlock agentic commerce with any Stripe merchant. Watch the demo walkthrough and try the starter repo. Here's how ⤵️

@echulshin Something that we're actively thinking about! What do you think would make a directory like this most helpful?

One of the first live examples of Stripe machine payments! Behind the scenes, this is how it works: 1) A Stripe PaymentIntent is created 2) Stripe generates a unique deposit address per transaction 3) That address is returned to the agent and instructs it to send funds or a payment token 4) Everything just works with @postalform's existing Stripe account! Human and machine payments sitting side-by-side in one place

I asked my clawdbot to send a letter to me in the mail… and it actually did it. I gave it a crypto wallet and some USDC to make purchases with, and clawdbot went and read the agent documentation on @postalform. It figured out how to draft an order with a PDF of the letter it wrote to me – then it used Stripe’s Purl cli and paid for the order using @stripe's new Machine Payments protocol. This is a huge step forward for real-world agentic task completion and commerce

The biggest challenge to machine/agentic payments right now is the classic cold start problem It's a two sided marketplace, agents on one side and businesses on the other So excited for @sponge_wallet to heat up both sides 🔥 Also, so proud of our Stripe crypto alumni >>>
Y Combinator@ycombinator

.@sponge_wallet is the easiest way for agents to hold and spend money, and for businesses to sell directly to them. Built by the team behind Stripe's stablecoin financial accounts, stablecoin payments and core money movement systems, Sponge brings deep experience in building financial systems for the new economic actor: agents Congratulations on the launch @sfspacesquid, @ericzhang98, @jaekyongchoi! ycombinator.com/launches/PTD-s…

When we build crypto products at Stripe, we talk a lot about how customers can use our E2E stack Today, Privy lets you run custodial and self-custodial wallets side-by-side, all through one API! Perfect for large enterprises that want an actual production-ready E2E solution for wallet infra
Privy@privy_io

1/ Custodial wallets are live in Privy. Built to serve global businesses that desire a licensed custodian partner, clearer recovery paths, and institutional controls. After powering 120M+ wallets & $9B+ in monthly volume, we know custody must adapt to real-world requirements.

@BackseatVC @USDC Key question: when agents autonomously chain tool calls, who enforces real-time spend limits? Dashboard visibility after the fact isn't enough—you need per-agent budget guardrails before the bill arrives.

Stripe now lets's you charge AI agents for API requests, tool calls, page crawls, content, etc! Built on top of stablecoin payments, we're starting with support for @USDC on x402 Human and agent transactions will live alongside each other in your Stripe dashboard...and it just works
Jeff Weinstein@jeff_weinstein

Autonomous agents are an entirely new category of users to build for, and, increasingly, to sell to. Today, we’re launching (a preview) of machine payments on @stripe—a way for developers to directly charge agents, with a few lines of code. 🤖💸 $ Let’s start tinkering… ⤵️
