During Pete Hegseth's Senate confirmation hearing today, Senator Tim Kaine shared his moral outrage over Hegseth's previous relationships. He suggested he wouldn't vote for Hegseth's confirmation because of his infidelity. Just 6 months ago, Kaine filmed a giddy video with Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff. Emhoff cheated on his first wife by getting his children's nanny pregnant. He is also accused of smacking one of his previous girlfriends in the face.

I’m out here on the National Mall marching with fellow veterans in support of @PeteHegseth’s nomination to serve as Secretary of Defense. We need a fighter who’s going to recalibrate our military’s focus back to lethality instead of DEI. Volume up. It’s a windy one.

I find this grandstanding from Senate Democrats over the Hegseth confirmation perplexing. We haven't won a war in three decades and we have a major recruitment challenge. Hegseth is assuredly NOT more of the same, and that's good!
