I appreciate that Jaden Ivey isn’t afraid to stand up for his biblical beliefs. On Monday, Jaden called out the NBA and the Chicago Bulls for proclaiming Pride Month to “celebrate unrighteousness.” The Bulls then waived Jaden for what they called conduct detrimental to the team. I hope other followers of Christ will choose to stand with the Word of God and not the world—no matter the cost. Remember that the intelligence world operates far removed from X, yet the commentary crowd still wants to believe they play a role. In reality, it’s mostly a back-patting echo chamber, and no amount of noise here changes what’s actually happening on the ground. X is full of people projecting what they think is happening, without real ground truth or actual human sources in the mix. By that, we mean someone overseas, not someone on the Hill rambling to whoever will listen. Most of the time, it is not an accurate reflection of reality. It is easier to consume someone else’s points and opinions than to do the work of collecting and verifying information yourself. That’s why you see the same repeated posts and talking points here. When that happens, their opinions start blending into your facts. It is not because of some shadowy influence operation, it is because people latch too quickly onto what they think is evidence to confirm their bias.

The word Israel appears 2,319 times in the Bible. The Jewish people maintained continuous cultural, religious, and linguistic connection to the land for 3,000+ years even through diaspora. God’s covenant with Abraham in Genesis 15 was a unilateral covenant where God alone passed between the pieces. Abraham was asleep. That means Israel’s faithfulness or lack thereof cannot void the promise. It’s God’s obligation, not a contract. Ezekiel 37 describes dry bones coming back to life as a nation explicitly in stages, first physical, then spiritual. 1948 is the physical stage and spiritual revival is ongoing. Isaiah 11:11 specifically says God will recover the remnant a second time implying a second diaspora and a second return. Genesis 15:18 describes borders from the Nile to the Euphrates the same geography Israel has geopolitically contested for decades. God said He would bring them back before they deserved it in Ezekiel 36:22-24 which explicitly says the regathering is for God’s name’s sake, not Israel’s righteousness. That preemptively answers the “but they’re secular” objection. You don’t have to like Israel and you don’t have to read the Bible, but if you’re going to comment on things then maybe you should actually know what you’re talking about first. Otherwise stick to comedy.

Lately I've been seeing a lot of posts where brothers and sisters in Christ are saying the church replaced Israel. But every time I sit down with Scripture, wrestling with it, praying for truth, wisdom, and understanding, it just doesn't read that way to me. What I see is adoption. Not replacement. Romans 11 paints a different picture: wild branches grafted into the same olive tree. The root is still there. The tree didn't get ripped out. We were brought in by grace, not to replace anyone, but to join the family. That's a massive difference. Replacement says: 'You're out, we're in.' Adoption says: 'The family expanded, and we get to be part of it too.' And here's the hope I hold onto for Israel and the Jewish people. God isn't done with Israel. Zechariah 12:10 promises they'll have their thief‑on‑the‑cross moment at the second coming, when they look on Him whom they pierced and mourn. I'm not here to replace anyone.
