@KimballCall LOL. Do you really think the issue is that it's messing with our landscapes? Dear God, dude. It's about water. Our water situation is dire.

I truly don't understand why this is a problem. It's out in the middle of absolutely nowhere. You've never been to the land it will be built on. You never had plans to do so either. It will provide jobs and improve the economy for Utah. As long as they can figure out the power and water, then 🤷🏼‍♂️

Kevin O'Leary's massive data center was approved by a county commission in Utah last night. At 40,000 acres, it would be 2.5x the size of Manhattan. The commission approved the proposal despite opposition from hundreds of locals.

@MatrixMysteries This is the America you get when you can't be a decent human being and honestly pay for your groceries. Shoplifting is rampant now. You can thank the criminal scum for this.

An American showed Walmart’s new security setup. Entire cuts of meat are now locked down with metal cables. Shoppers can’t just grab a pack of steaks — items have to be unlocked or taken to the register by staff. This isn’t the America people want to live in.

@LukeFHan Amen. Also, what the hell are people going to do in heaven for eternity in the traditional Christian view? What's the point? Just singing? Chilling? An eternity without progress is going to get old FAST.

These 3 Soviet-bloc badasses built their bodies on cheese-heavy, near-vegetarian diets in Soviet-controlled Czechoslovakia during an era where Russia had banned BB for being too bougie, which means it's possible for anyone to get jacked under any conditions. This was taken in 1980, when these 3 were part of a training camp for the Soviet Bloc's version of the Olympia, the Sandow. The training camp was held in a little fairy tale town called Mariánské Lázně & featured the best BBers from what are now Czechia & Slovakia. Going left to right, we have: - Robert Dantlinger MW competitor in the proto-JNCOs at 5'6" & ~170lbs - Jan Černý, one of the Soviet bloc's best LW competitors - Alois Pek, a 6'1" 230lbs monster with 20"+ arms To build these absurdly aesthetic physiques, these guys trained more than you can imagine. In the off-season, the Czechs trained 3-4x/week, & off-season training didn't involve any training to failure or maxing- it was just to keep the engine warm for contest season, doing 10-15 sets per bodypart. When they started contest prep, the Czechs would start including training to max & adding forced reps. They'd gradually increase the intensity by adding another training day & extra intensity, & at 6 weeks out would move to Mariánské Lázně to train with the rest of the team. For the last 6 weeks, they'd all train together in 2x/day training sessions, 6 days/week, using giant sets, 20-25 sets per bodypart & up to 130 sets per day. Sounds crazy, but it worked- Pek benched 440lbs in the middle of a BB contest & Dantlinger benched 286lbx x 10 & 407lbs at ~170lbs. Meat & eggs were rationed & very scarce under the Soviets, so the Czech BBers of the era claimed relied on it as the only true BBer food they had available. Dantlinger lived on it except the last 6 weeks before a show, which were zero-carb weeks in which he dieted on small amounts of meat, fish, & veggies, & consumed 3lbs of it every day (yielding 150g PRO, 6g FAT, 53G CHO). © Reddit #archaeohistories

@BasedMikeLee They want to impose a wealth tax, why? So they can take money from working Americans and give it to a bunch of foreigners, illegals, drug addicts and criminals. Oh, and themselves and their friends too.

I’m about to get married, and my fiancé knows I have an inheritance that was left to me by my grandparents. It’s in my name only, and I’ve been saving it for years. Now he’s saying that before we get married, I should put the entire inheritance into a joint account so we can “start fresh together,” or he doesn’t think we should go through with the wedding. I’m 36 already and this is something my family worked hard to leave me. I’m torn between wanting to build a life together and feeling like I’m being pressured to give up something important to me. What do you think I should do? By isitmeaitah

@DeadBug15 It depends on the ward. I've lived in wards where I have felt like family and was absolutely crushed to have to move away. But, I've also lived in wards where I didn't feel much of a connection.

I’ve lived in my current ward for 6.5 years and feel like I wouldn’t miss it if I moved away tomorrow. I participate in the activities we have, and I’m active in my calling, but do others (esp men) feel this same way? Almost zero emotional connection to the ward?
