@bballbreakdown @D_West30 You’re arguing with a literal former NBA player… and still think you know more than him.. give it up

Hey David, always nice to see you out here. And I've gotta tell you, it's mystifying to see some former players out here saying what you're saying. In the specific alignment we saw twice last night, the only game in town is Harden having to get back as the safety valve. When this came up last season, it took me very little time & effort to find a ton of examples, so let me know what you think of these: x.com/bballbreakdown…

No. Wrong. It is not on the shooter to be first guy back. As soon as he raises up the corner guard/wings are responsible for getting back. What are we talking about here🤷🏽‍♂️
BBALLBREAKDOWN@bballbreakdown

@Boogie2x_ I don't just run a basketball page, I'm an actual basketball coach. And I can assure you that when you're the guy out top in this alignment when the shot is taken, you are the safety getting back. It is unassailable, foundational, and one of the most basic concepts in the game.

@nbanerdd Boozer comes to mind. Everyone thinks he’s this one dimensional post player that relies on “bully ball” when in reality, it’s just what worked in college. Plenty other layers to his game

One of my favorite games is “Who’s the Most Famous Person in the World,” where you pick a country and guess who the most famous person from there is. Some are easy (Barbados—Rihanna), but I’m now wondering about France. Probably some footballer, right

we can’t take heights at face value. like an inch of Mobley’s ”height” is just his upper skull being tall, that’s a useless trait for a basketball player

Yall not sick of this convo? Jeff was a solid player but at no point in his professional career was he best player on his team or the #1 option—you couldn’t dominate the league that was built for you but want to bring up hypotheticals of dawging women in the W? Odd.

Jeff Teague says he’d drop 100 points in a WNBA game: “I’d have Wilt numbers… I’m playing the whole game…. No disrespect to them but I’m 215, bro. A'ja Wilson probably weigh 200, sh*t I doubt that she probably weigh about 170. A'ja getting 46 and this is no disrespect you are cold. They can’t check her, they damn sure can’t check me. 100 ball.” (via @club520podcast, h/t @NBA__Courtside)

I have thought about potential trades for Giannis Antetokounmpo this summer, but there are very few teams out there that can actually provide the Bucks with the desired young blue-chip player and draft picks in a deal without depleting the roster.

@JWeinbachNBA It’ll have to be a 3 team deal. The team receiving giannis will send a decent player to the third team in exchange for draft capital going to the Bucks

@DraftExpress I think these measurements might really change the order the guards go in. Acuff probably back at the top of the board but I think philon moves up as well
