Companies change focus of games to chase trends rather than be original (Marathon changing to "Heroes" mid development), they fire tenured devs to hire younger, cheaper devs. These cost major time/money

@Case13027848 @madcap412 Baldur's Gate 3 is awesome because it gives you options. Options are not "woke". Inclusion of building whatever character you want to make is just what an RPG should be. It becomes a problem when they start excluding and forcing people to build their character a certain way.

Bungie gives us the best extraction game to date, one of the best art directions in a MP game ever, insanely tight gunplay and amazing end-game maps. Everyone who plays Marathon is having fun. Sad, broken man cries instead of enjoying what he enjoys (probably nothing)

There are a ton of people who would genuinely love marathon who aren’t playing it. It’s the only FPS MP game that’s grabbed me in many years and offers something actually unique in the space. I hope more people give it a try, it’s a fantastic game
