When I tell my story, I always say I was very oblivious & focused on myself growing up, paying very little attention to women’s sports. Once I was done playing 🏀, taking my younger sister to her basketball games & practices totally reignited my interest in the game. Then in her 8th grade year, her coach quit very shortly before the season. I took the job. We won our first game 47-2, went undefeated, won the league 🏆. I subsequently became a Women’s HS Head Coach, built that program, founded and built a Women’s AAU program, and then ultimately became a Women’s College Head Coach all within 10 years. Thank God I have a younger sister. Life changing in many ways. 🙏🏀♥️
