Deeply disturbing rhetoric is spreading from influential MAGA figures (including the President of the United States and the owner of this website). They have no idea who the shooter is, and many of these same people mocked Democrats when they were victims of political violence in the past. In moments like this, we should be lowering the temperature and finding our shared humanity — not fueling more hatred and violence.

I've interviewed Angela Rayner a number of times & she's always robust. Very different side of her today & she's clearly v upset about having to disclose details about her kids. I asked her is she thought about quitting to avoid that...she says her family wanted her to speak up

Regardless of political affiliation, nobody thinks Angela Rayner deliberately avoided paying the correct tax. She took advice from a legal representative which turned out to be wrong. Tories never resigned over indiscretions so tread carefully lecturing others #PoliticsLive
