As someone who has been in the cannabis industry for 15 years and spent significant effort to sequence the 1st cannabis genome to establish quality standards in the field, I stopped engaging with Makis when I witnessed him push patients toward CBD providers I’ve never heard of nor had any legitimate lab testing (current CofAs) of the CBD oil he was endorsing for immunocompromised patients. I have personal experience with cancer and Cannabinoid sourcing for my Father. The Makis redirected company hosted many of his unverifiable ‘patient testimonies’ on their product pages suggestive of Makis getting royalties for the sales. He actively redirected people from providers that earned a 20 year reputation in the field servicing pediatric epilepsy cases to this sprout up company singing his praises. That’s when I realized he was over his skis on CBD but cloaked his QA/QC recklessness in the desperation of his alleged patients. Any critique is met with accusations of the critic being part of the anti-Makis shadowy cabal. Pure cult behavior. This doesn’t mean IVM/FenBen or CBD don’t work for various ailments. They do but they are not panaceas. Once you’re outside of the FDA system, QC is everything (in fact even the FDA fails a this) and he doesn’t give 2 shits about it. The sordid Makis history documented by @open_vaet has not been addressed by Makis. He’s just insulting and blocking everyone asking questions about it claiming he’s the victim of a grand conspiracy. Many of us are targets of such harassment but you cant let this be a camouflage for bad actors. Never take his advice on cannabinoids. I don’t have any investments in companies that sell cannabinoids and I don’t sell medical coaching about it. If you want trusted advice in that space I’d point you the Society For Cannabis Clinicians. Project CBD is a good resource run by Martin Lee. Who is more likely to spread the pertussis bacterium (aka, whooping cough)—those vaccinated or those unvaccinated? The reality (see FDA, industry, and pharma scientists sources below) is that it is the vaccinated. Why? Two reasons. First, those vaccinated are less likely to have symptoms if infected with the pertussis bacterium but the bacterium still multiplies in their nasopharynx and they then unknowingly spreading it to others (instead of showing symptoms and knowing to isolate). Not science fiction—the hard cold facts as detailed below. Second, and this makes the reality even worse, because after an unvaccinated person has been infected with pertussis (and is more likely to have symptoms and stay in bed) that person won’t get infected again for at least many years – but the vaccinated individual can become infected over, and over, and over again with the pertussis bacterium because of the defective immunity this vaccine generates. But don’t worry, legacy media, no doubt won’t let the facts stand in the way of their hyperbolic reporting. They will blindly, like religious adherents, seek to blame, persecute, and shame those who do not inject this product instead of facing the reality: those vaccinated are more likely to spread this pathogen. If you don’t agree with the foregoing, take it up with the FDA, industry scientists, infectious diseases societies, and the hard cold data and science: - As the FDA explained in 2024: “aP [acellular pertussis] containing vaccines induce helper T cells (TH2) memory and neutralizing antibody responses that effectively prevent symptomatic disease but fail to prevent colonization and carriage.” fda.gov/media/181937/d… - As those considered the world's leading pertussis vaccine experts, pharma consultants, and infectious disease societies explained in a consensus paper on pertussis vaccine in 2019: “Natural infection evokes both mucosal and systemic immune responses, while aPVs [acellular pertussis vaccines] induce only a systemic immune response. … Mucosal immunity is essential to prevent colonization and transmission of B. pertussis organisms. Kirsty Coventry, a two time Olympic gold medalist in swimming from Zimbabwe, became the first woman to lead the International Olympic Committee in its 132 year history when she was elected president in June 2025. One of her first major decisions was launching a review of female category protections in Olympic sport. On March 26, 2026, the IOC Executive Board approved a 10 page policy banning transgender women from all female events at the Olympics starting with the 2028 Los Angeles Games. Eligibility is now limited to biological females verified by a one time SRY gene screening. Athletes who test negative are permanently eligible. The policy also restricts most athletes with differences in sex development, including two time Olympic champion Caster Semenya. Coventry said the policy protects fairness, safety, and integrity, adding that "even the smallest margins can be the difference between victory and defeat."
