I’ve covered Eric Swawell since he was a member of the Dublin City Council. Shortly after being elected to Congress in 2013, his behavior towards women was known by all levels of our local government and the Alameda County Democratic Party.

UNC insiders looking for an $18M+ NIL budget. Their view is that Malone will be able to go "buy" the team he wants. It could work, or it could be a bust. Time will tell.

Seems bizarre that all the “Tarheel Social Media” sites, some charging greater than $100 annually to subscribers, had no idea who their next head coach would be. And most had to look up Mike Malone after the hiring.

UNC made a big mistake in firing Hubert Davis after a tough NCAA loss. Now their options are dwindling. No Lloyd, no Donovan etc. He was a successful coach, honest, loyal, loaded with integrity, and he was fired. Here is a novel solution: rehire Hubert Davis.

There you have it. If UNC can’t recruit the portal and also the current players don’t know who the coach is next season before the portal opens, that’s going to put them at a huge disadvantage next year. Is throwing away a season worth a chance at Donovan?

@MattNorlander All UNC has done is to get other coaches more money, as they leverage the UNC tampering to get raises. Gonna be interesting who finally breaks the cycle and takes them up on leading the program. Clock is ticking…..

Sources: UNC offered Tommy Lloyd a top-two contract in CBB. Lloyd took less to stay, but will still bump up to $7.2 million starting next season. Staff pool also will get a huge bump + incentives brought back to their contract structures. He'll also no longer report to the AD.
