@Joann5joann @AusPIPS150 @DrShaneRRR This was fully costed by @AustralianLabor in the election incl the tests & the machines that process them. The existing heelprick card cld be used, with possibly 3 extra drops added to the card. No additional testing for the baby – 1 test – 80 diseases not 25.

@AusPIPS150 @DrShaneRRR @BetterAccessAus I am in full support of widening the parameters of testing but as someone on the ground who has to take the initial test what would change- eg would more blood be needed? Also have we the technology here in Aust and if so can it be used on tests already done.
