@suleman_subeena hi I’m with Keiran McKenzie. He says that we have a lot in common as did @SalmaYaqoob you may be interested in what we are doing with #HealthInequalities & links btwn primary & 2ndary care the SouthEast Asian community & @BhamFTCI bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Fantastic day at @uhbtrust #emergencyDepartment as #OptOut #HIV and #Hepatitis testing goes live . Everyone having blood taken in the ED department will now have additional blood samples taken for these viruses. Without a doubt this will save so many lives

@SP_EHRCJ @scotgov @WaverleyCare @BrawleyDaniela Good to hear Dr Dan Clutterbuck talk about the benefits of opt-out testing for broader blood borne viruses and the potential it has to help reach both the imminent Hep C elimination targets and our goal to end new cases of HIV in Scotland by 2030.

I also asked @mariamkhan29 about what support is out there for those who test positive for HIV, including groups like @peers_positive

Thank you @maggie_erewash for all you have done to champion opt-out HIV testing. The expansion of opt-out HIV testing to 46 more hospitals across the country takes us one step closer to ending the HIV epidemic in England and changing thousands of lives along the way.
