@DefiantLs I’ve met her before. She’s really nice. She’s a top level Strongwoman in her weight class. I see nothing wrong with women competing against women in strength sports. What’s the issue?

@BakerBarbell My grip still will give out even with the figure 8 straps but that’s a long time after they would’ve given out without them.

Does anyone think that Overhead Squats are even remotely close to the same stimulus for the legs as a back squat? No. Why? Because the ability to hold the weight overhead is BY FAR the limiting factor in this exercise. You will drop the weight due to shoulder and arm strength long before your legs are even remotely taxed. But yet….. Guys will argue with me until they are blue in the face about using straps on rows or RDLs. When your grip gives out 100+ lbs before your back or hamstrings do you are severely limiting your gains. You don’t overhead squat for your legs, why are you barbell rowing without straps?? But I wanna strengthen my grip too!!!! Then do grip work. If a guy wants to strengthen his legs and shoulders, he does squats and shoulder presses. He doesn’t try to get a “two-fer” by doing overhead squats. Wear your straps.

@anymanfitness That was actually my point. When you’re doing all the little things right, adding some other stuff really amplifies what you’re doing. I thought you’d enjoy the process.

It has nothing to do with credibility. You could make the argument that doing steroids and using peptides will make you more $$$ (especially on this app). The reason I’ve never taken them is I have a EXTREMELY addictive personality. I will love it. And I’m scared it will become an obsession. A man has to know his limitations.

One of the hardest things I had to relearn was how to throw food away. We're so programmed to think throwing food in the garbage is a waste of money and resources - like we're going to save starving children by eating every morsel on our plate. This just makes you fat. Avoid.

Bodybuilding is all about longevity. You need a lot of time to build muscle and that's why it's sometimes not worth doing free weight movements because the risk for injury is significantly higher compared to machines. I can't deny that it's still fun to do free weight squats every once in a while but at least for me, those days are behind me.

A whopping 320 hd traded on cash hogs today...425k estimated slaughter, that is .00075% of the daily kill, obviously it didn't print because who can price hogs off that few numbers. Apparently the floating summer holidays are strong at work or nobody has any pigs for sale yet!

@wolfstrength I usually alternate quarter and plate until I get close. 45, 95,135, 185,225,275,315 x2 then I’d do 345x1. I’m also 49 and don’t mind taking my time getting there. What’s the hurry?

Still too many of you under-warming up out of excessive concern for fatigue. There’s almost always more than one right path to work up to your 1st work set, but assuming it’s 365x5, and will be hard, not routine, here’s a general idea. Assume 1-3 empty bar sets as needed first.

I’m a big dude. 6’8”. 240 pounds Once upon a time I was also 40% body fat. I tried so hard to “eat clean”. And “eat healthy”. It never worked. Maybe it would work for a few months, but I always regained the weight. It wasn’t until I got REAL with myself and started tracking my macros that I realized just how much I was actually eating. Studies show we eat 50% more calories than we think we do. And we burn 50% less calories than we think we do. Tracking will open your eyes. I firmly believe everyone (who is trying to lose weight) should take 90 days and track everything they eat. It will show you what an “everyday food” is. What an “every once in awhile” food is. And what a “that ain’t worth the calories” food is. You don’t have to look at your speedometer to not get a speeding ticket. But if you find yourself getting pulled over frequently, it might be a good idea.

Left western/NW Illinois with tassels starting to poke out in some fields. Get to NE Missouri and see a whole pile of knee high to waist high corn. Took until close to Rush Hill to see, what I thought, was a pretty solid looking corn field. (Once we got into Mo)

If you’re currently experimenting with more than 2 peptides, that’s -5000 odds you’re going to be using steroids within 6 months. I don’t make the rules.

4 Weeks on the GLP-1 Retatrutide up into the end of this cut today…My full experience and honest thoughts Four weeks into using Retatrutide, and I can confidently say this is one of the most effective fat loss tools I’ve ever used. As someone who’s been through multiple cutting phases between bodybuilding preps, powerlifting weight cuts, and 100s of wrestling weight cuts… This experience has been uniquely different. Here’s my breakdown of what’s been working and what to watch out for. What’s Working Appetite Control: The biggest change. I feel full for hours and haven’t had a single late-night binge or impulse craving the last 4 weeks. No snacking. No mindless eating. Just clean adherence. Mood & Energy: Even in a calorie deficit, I feel more clear-headed and stable emotionally. No brain fog, no mood swings. Sleep: Before Reta, I was getting maybe 2–3 hours of sleep due to hunger. Now? I’m sleeping through the night consistently. Fat Loss & Body Composition: I’ve leaned out fast. But what’s more impressive is the nutrient partitioning confirmed via DEXA. The food I’m eating is going toward lean mass, not fat. (Gained muscle tissue on this cut) Cravings: Fast food, sweets, “comfort” cravings? Gone. It’s like the volume on all of that got turned way down. Overall Impression: Within a few days of starting, I knew this would be my go-to method for cutting in the future. It’s not hype. This has been a total shift in how I approach fat loss. Challenges & Considerations Hydration: Even with 1.5–2 gallons of water daily, I’ve been noticeably thirstier. Staying on top of electrolytes and salting all meals makes a big difference. Heartburn: Mild, but it’s been there. I’ve found it’s manageable when hydration and electrolytes are dialed in. Meal Frequency: Getting in 5–6 meals a day is tough when hunger just isn’t there. I’ve had to focus hard on hitting protein targets and not skipping meals just because I’m not hungry. Dosing Strategy: The initial dose would taper off after 3–4 days. I’ve since adjusted to 3–4 smaller doses weekly, and that’s helped keep the appetite suppressant effects more stable. Forgetfulness Around Meals: If I don’t set reminders, I forget to eat. That sounds crazy but it’s the truth. You still gotta get your food in. Final Verdict: Retatrutide has made fat loss feel sustainable, automatic, and less mentally exhausting. If hunger and cravings are usually what derail your progress, this could be a game-changing solution under proper guidance

🩺 TRT Plus: My Take 💪 Lots of chatter about TRT Plus on X! I believe higher-than-normal androgen loads are safe for men if you consistently follow these guidelines: ✅ Regular Bloodwork: At minimum, get CMP/CBC, Lipid Panel, Total & Free Testosterone, Estradiol Sensitive, and SHBG. Add GGT if you drink alcohol to monitor liver health. 🩺 ✅ Monitor Blood Pressure: Keep it in a healthy range, like ~120/75. 🩺 ✅ Set Clear Goals: Whether for recovery, resilience, or mood, tailor your TRT Plus to you—not bodybuilding dreams unless those are in fact your dreams.🎯 My Favorite TRT Plus Protocol: 1️⃣ Testosterone: 100-200mg/wk 💉 2️⃣ Equipoise (EQ): 100-300mg/wk 🏋️‍♂️ 🐴 3️⃣ HCG: 750-1750IU/wk 🧬 🍆 💦 4️⃣ Proviron: 25mg/day 💊 🍆 💦 This combo is hard to beat for safety and results! 🚀 Do your research—don’t jump in blindly. 🧠 You will be hard pressed to find something as simple, elegant, and effective as what you’ve just read above ⬆️
