I recommend no Boots On The Ground in Iran, Strait of Hormuz or Kharg Island. Both objectives would put troops inside Iran Artillery range , and would require Resupply by air and sea in restricted terrain. If you can seize the Strait you still 660 KM from Kharg Island. Iran Seems Have a Million Man Army w Many Drones, Missiles and Artillery. The More Troops we move into the region, provide more targets for Iran Drones and Missiles . Our Strength so far has been able to use stand off distance w our Ships and aircraft. Attacks like this require surprise and deception, don’t think we have , Russia Provides Intelligence to Iran .
