This statement from @NYCMayor Mamdani is really hollow considering he axed NYC’s definition of antisemitism on Day 1, appointed useless antisemitism czar @phylisajoy who can’t even define the term, and stated how he will veto a bill on buffer zones for protests around schools.

I am horrified and angered by the swastikas painted on homes and a synagogue in Forest Hills, including on a plaque honoring survivors of Kristallnacht. This is not just vandalism — it is a deliberate act of antisemitic hatred meant to instill fear. There is no place for antisemitism in Queens or anywhere in our city. I live right in this neighborhood and bike lanes on 72 Street will make it much harder for me and my family and to be safe here. I’ve already been injured by an e-bike rider and never want it to happen again. I have small business owners whose stores I frequent telling me they will be hard pressed to run their businesses with bike lanes cutting off necessary access to the street.
