I'm asking marketing candidates about what the top 3 things are we need to improve. I kid you not, a surprising amount of people think "more CTAs on the website", "new tagline" or "better logo" is the way to double our revenue. And these people run marketing for someone. 🤦‍♂️

Goodness gracious, talk about nostalgia. Walking into Yeshivat Kerem B'Yavneh gave me all the feels. You see, I studied Torah here for years as part of the hesder program before and after my army service. The memories I made here are simply unparalleled. I am giving a lecture down the road and (as always) I came early, so I took a short detour to come here and soak in the energy. As the new year approaches, I am overwhelmed by the sentiment of renewal, of new beginnings. I’ve been making some big moves in my personal and professional life and I’m very excited for what’s to come. Coming here brought me back so many years (about 25) and reminded me, just from walking in here, what a true connection to Gd feels like. I hope to get back there this coming year. Let this be a year of renewal for us all. A year of clarity and crystallization of priorities. A year of true deep happiness and success. A year of plugging back into life, into our spirituality, our relationships, to our families, and to everything we may have pushed off. It’s amazing how a place can evoke such emotion. The air, the smells, the views, the overall environment, it just brings me back 25 years. I could not have found myself here on a better day than today as we wrap up this year of craziness and prepare for the future. I hope to take this feeling into my Rosh Hashanah prayers and whether or not you go to synagogue, whether or not you’re even Jewish, I want to bless you that you use this period to go back, go deep, and shift the narratives you tell yourself, so you can achieve maximum impact and fulfill your true potential in this world. Shana Tova. So excited to start again!
