Ya sure let’s close a major artery to the city when the Jays are in town. Marlies are in playoffs, Raptors are in playoffs . TFC in town this weekend. Oh and right a Parade happening with road closures along York and Bay and Queen on Sunday. Did anyone think this thru?

@TeslaTrackerUS With this confirmation that HW3 vehicles cannot achieve unsupervised FSD and given the option to get into an AI4 vehicle is this confirmation that those with AI4 cars will get unsupervised FSD and not be forced to an AI5 vehicle?

🧠 HW3 Tesla owners now have 2 paths • Tesla now says HW3 cannot achieve Unsupervised FSD • FSD buyers are being offered a discounted trade-in into an AI4 vehicle, plus FSD transfer • That moves the issue from software timing to a hard compute ceiling

Brakes also get hot from taxiing to the runway pilots often ride them lightly to keep speed down, especially on bigger jets or short taxiways. Right after take off as well wheels are spinning at 160knots or so (depending on set take off speeds and aircraft). brakes will auto apply a bit to stop them from spinning during retraction which builds up heat as well. Various different factors

Boeing 787-9 takeoff, doesn't retract landing gear. The landing gear door automatically opened 1 second after liftoff, but pilots didn't retract the gear, so after 30 seconds, it closed.

Tomorrow, we launch. At sunset tonight, Artemis II waits on the pad, ready to carry astronauts potentially farther than any humans have traveled in more than half a century. The next era of exploration begins.

If you’re ever unfortunate enough to see an engine failure like this on the aircraft you’re travelling in, a couple of reasons you don’t need to be scared (Although I understand it’s human nature).. 1) Firstly it’s very rare. Most pilots are likely to have one engine failure per career as new engines are VERY reliable. 2) The flight crew train and are tested for this exact scenario every 6 months in the simulator. Dealing with one becomes second nature as we’ve practised it so often. 3) Our first priority is making sure the aircraft is flying somewhere safe (Away from terrain) so the fire might not get extinguished immediately. The engine is designed to contain it in the meantime. 4) Lastly, and don’t take this the wrong way, communicating with the cabin is a fair way down the priority list so it might be a while before we speak to you. This does not mean it’s not being dealt with. #avgeek #avgeeks #aviation

The Airbus A330-300 landed safely and was met by the airport firefighting team (ARFF), and the passengers were taken by bus to the terminal. The safety of our customers and crew is our highest priority. We apologize to our customers for this delay in their travels."

Two Canadian pilots died. Oil prices are hurting people’s pockets badly. Our economy is under attack and we’re focused on a language debate. What is really happening right now?? Let’s allow Air Canada’s CEO to apologize and let’s move on.

I’ve been lucky. Renter wise. Nothing near as bad here. Just to give you an idea from my point of view with 2 vehicles I have on Turo. Car payments $700 month insurance $650 = $1350 is what I need to clear to break even on Turo with the bills for cars only and we comfortably do that while also making profit and putting money aside for wear and tear repairs. Because you’re a mechanic you’d save a lot of money compared to going to Tesla dealership we save a lot more because we know a guy that’s great working on our teslas as long as it isn’t high voltage related. I won’t say it’s guaranteed by any means it’s a tough market and a lot of the same cars out there now. It really depends on what you have to offer compared to the others, those reviews and area you live in.

@BillyPickles6 @EZebroni Thanks for sharing! I’m an EV enthusiast and mechanic looking at this as a potential source of income. I’m following him now as well. Hopefully all of your renters treat your vehicles with respect.

Our Turo guest left us a 4-star review and marked “low tire pressure” as an area of improvement. As a Power Host, we know to take photos of the tire pressure before and after each trip. Before the trip, the tire pressures were all in range without any low pressure warnings. After the trip, we found the front passenger was low and that there was a screw in the tire. I happily remove the screw and plugged the hole. I didn’t even bother the guest about it. However, they left us a 4-star review. Nice.

Working on it still to fresh to get a real accurate cost analysis. Wife and I just started this late January this year. Just to get skin in the game we did unlimited KM and drop the price a bit to get reviews and rentals for exposure. We were just breaking even with that. Now with reviews and decent bookings we’ve adjusted pricing and added KM limits, should be able to tell soon. Still new to the game found @EZebroni AFTER getting the cars on Turo and his posts scare the absolute shit out of me lol.

By the time the wind sheer hit altitude was too low to initiate full engine spool go around. Even if they hit full throttle by the time the engines engage and give enough thrust for lift again they would’ve been on the ground. Safe management and control was best option which they did IMO.

Should note that SpaceX will only try to catch the ship with the tower after two perfect soft landings in the ocean. The risk of the ship breaking up over land needs to be very low.

Tesla Model Y I rented on Turo - the owner ghosted me and I was forced to rent a vehicle at Pearson in Toronto. Not many available but they did have an F-150 and I couldn’t be more pumped!!
