#Awantipora:  At the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) Awantipora, launched 'Inclusive Technology Business Incubator' (i-TBI) and iFactory Lab by the Ministry of Science & Technology, govt of India.  A major step toward building a vibrant #StartUp ecosystem in #JammuAndKashmir. Also announcing a Rs 5-crore support package from the Department of Science and Technology (DST) for hand-holding of aspiring entrepreneurs. Starting with 15 StarUps, and in the next three years, this number will grow to 30.  The aim is to ensure that the youth of J&K don't miss the bus of India’s innovation journey spearheaded by PM @narendramodi. India’s growth in the R&D landscape, with rapid establishment of institutions, research laboratories, and advanced infrastructures, has strengthened scientific capabilities. Yet, optimising its use and democratising access to those outside major institutions and urban centres remains a critical priority in the journey of being a globally competitive R&D landscape. The Indian Science, Technology, and Engineering Facilities Map (I-STEM) was conceptualised and developed in collaboration with @iiscbangalore, as a national-level platform for sharing scientific resources with support from Office of @PrinSciAdvGoI in March 2018. @PrinSciAdvGoI, Prof. @AjaySoodIISc, chaired the 3rd meeting of the Scientific Steering Committee on One Health on 26th August 2025, at Vigyan Bhawan Annexe. This meeting marked the inclusion of three more ministries/Departments: @moesgoi, @isro and @FisheriesGoI. The Committee deliberated on the progress made since its last meeting, with updates on state and UT engagements, capacity building, and inter-sectoral coordination. The report for the first State/ UT engagement workshop held in June 2025, was also released during the meeting. India’s #BioE3 policy marks a defining milestone in the nation’s march towards a Green, Sustainable and Self-reliant future . It is more than an economic vision…it is a roadmap for a biotechnology-driven tomorrow where growth and sustainability will go hand in hand.
