@RedCalifor77861 @MisterCa55 @alphafox I pay 27% in tax. Lots of the guys in groups pay significantly more. I’m just a dumb blue collar worker, saying that I drive to work and pay fuel taxes road taxes etc. we all share the same stuff. Though they could ride single pace line. These posts just spread more hate.
English

@MisterCa55 @alphafox Well I'll agree on the entitled part.
When they start paying 300.00 a year to register their bikes to help pay for bike lanes and road repairs I'll be glad to share the road when 30 of them block the lane doing 5 mph in a 45
English

@Terry__Pandy @SteveWps He’s in the UA I don’t know what they make in Canada but for me a 14hr day is a measly 1400$ he’s probably not to far off of that. But we are just dumb fitters
English

@SteveWps Should have paid attention in school instead of skipping out and being a fucking junkie.
No one to blame but yourself, dumbass.
Also, you’re poor in the country you were BORN in.

@IrishTim5 @nicksortor Friend just got back from Patagonia a week ago. Gas was 5.50-6$ a gallon.
Guess what people weren’t screaming trump this trump that.
English

@nicksortor Then WHY am I paying $4.00 a gallon for gas in Colorado Springs........ April 23 2026
English

@MrBearMexico @MerlijnTrader Still owed after my overtime withholding. Accountant recommended withholding an extra 100$ a week to not owe next year.
English

@MerlijnTrader This is the FULL announcement. Go to mark 3:15min He is really saying if your part of tax cuts including No Tax on Overtime then go change your deduction. youtube.com/watch?v=WHbbRD…

UNREAL:
🇺🇸 U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent just said something extraordinary.
"Change your withholding. You will get an automatic real wage increase."
Translation: stop letting the government take your money upfront.
Keep it yourself. Every week. Every month.
The U.S. Treasury Secretary just told Americans to hold onto their own money.
That is not a normal thing for a Treasury Secretary to say.
English

@ND_Husker_Fan @BitcoinPulseX I’m waiting for more but I got 5k deduction from my overtime.
Two co workers deducted taxes on thier new vehicles. Not much but I have more hope. Last year I owed so not perfect but better.
English

@BitcoinPulseX Have to see it to believe it and I voted for Trump.....he hasn't done one thing he said he was going to do in tax reform.....Thee End !!!!

@NalydE24 @Mr_X_1650 @arielhelwani Any major city on the west coast and surrounding areas.
Seattle minimum wage is 21 hr and rising.
Thriving wage and living wage two different categories.
Anybody who works thier ass off should thrive. Not just get by or scrape. In my state Washington 120k is scraping.
English

@Mr_X_1650 @arielhelwani In what world is $120,000 yearly not a living wage?
English

@sorealfoods Too much sauce. Not even necessary with all the awesome natural flavors.
English

@AsianDawn4 Not as rad as an English racing ETS GTr from my home town.

@TheProjectUnity Cannabis: canna=dog bis=2
2 dog plant.
Believed to be brought from nommo goddess from Sirius
Ancient festival dates back 300bc where they celebrated cannabis.
Fun story in the culture of cannabis. Look it up I’m not lying. Read about it 20 years ago in a book

🚨This African Tribe Claimed to Originate From Sirius-B, 1500 YEARS BEFORE We "Discovered" It
The Dogon people, an ancient tribe with a history dating back thousands of years, have maintained a perplexing connection to the stars that predates Western astronomy by centuries.
But what is perhaps most bewildering is their precise knowledge of distant stars, including one in particular, Sirius, which seems to be more than mere coincidence...
In the heart of Africa, deep within the Mali region of West Africa, lies a group of people whose cultural and spiritual beliefs challenge everything we think we know about human history, astronomy, and even extraterrestrial life.
At the core of the Dogon’s celestial knowledge lies the star system of Sirius, specifically Sirius B, a white dwarf companion to the bright and well-known Sirius A. As I said Sirius B was first officially discovered by Western scientists in 1862, using powerful telescopes.
However, the Dogon people, who had no contact with Western science and no advanced telescopes, had been describing Sirius B in intricate detail long before this discovery.

@TheReturn118397 @harukaawake It may be different for me but as a tradesman I work around a lot of them. They treat me with respect and professionalism sometimes even admiration. It’s may be due to them respecting values of the profession but I also think it’s a nothing burger they are just great people.
English

@harukaawake As an American I have strong feelings that cause me to be reluctant to visit because I am concerned over the hurt that has been caused. If I visited Hiroshima and Nagasaki, I’m afraid of how I would be seen, and if the people there would be unhappy for me to be there.
English

🇯🇵 I often see endless third world resentment toward the West and feel only pity.
Hiroshima & Nagasaki were destroyed by atomic bombs. We lost everything. We didn't scream about trauma or demand endless reparations. We rebuilt. Today these cities are beautiful.
So, drop the victimhood. Stop blaming history. Change and build something or otherwise get used to being disliked.

@skumWgmi Worth noting if I were a landlord I would have to rent the house for minimum of 3500-4000 to break even and then have cash available for maintence.
my rent for a 2 bedroom duplex 2010 was 750$ same place now is 2200$
My sons 2 bed apartment is 1850$
This OP is spot on.
English

@skumWgmi 2013 bought my first house, 1100 sq.ft 135k
sold it in 2020 fo 375k.
same house today is valued at 460k 5 years later.
Estimated mortgage with 20% down=2800$ with no PMI.
Rent is about 3x higher than when I bought the home.
English

Nobody talks about how genuinely different life was 15 years ago. $650 rent. $4 happy hour. A full grocery run under $90. Job offers within a week of applying. Nights out that weren't being filmed and uploaded before you got home. That world existed. it wasn't that long ago. And it is completely gone.
English

@keramikpott @RobLogic They believed in the bird gods. Stand in front of the steps 60’ away and clap you will get the sound of birds. I’ve done it.
During summer equinox the sun is directly aligned with the center.
Go to the ball court near by and talk 100’ away because the sound bounces off walls.
English

@ginamilan_ Just a recent podcast he was asked what he thought, and he mentioned he was unsure if it was the right venue, rather than being pumped. I believe he wished it wasn’t there but then when he’s there he’s gonna be smiles and rub elbows.
English

@JacobKarli1 @ariklus1 @EricRichards22 Nah, vigor shipyards here in Portland are always bowed up and the pay quite more than what’s advertised on the thread here.
English

@ariklus1 @EricRichards22 Lol this really rattld cages and showed that people aren’t free market advocates. Rather, they want to use government to get their wages to a hypothetical rate
The market clearly says that ship building is unproductive in the US. Determining why that is the case needs more study
English

You're going to have to bite bullet and pay a pipefitter more than twenty-three dollars an hour and some grudging overtime hours
60 Minutes@60Minutes
Shipyards desperately need welders, pipefitters, and other skilled workers. But this work is grueling and dangerous. cbsn.ws/4bIyP6O
English

@strallweat Double edge sword. We will eventually meet in the middle, blue collar guys don’t pay for house upgrades and high paying college people will be less existent buying house upgrades etc. it will then be just corporations building new things hopefully to keep
Up all the work flow.
English

Something I find interesting.
The boomer blue collar workers didn't want their kids breaking their backs so they sent them off to college to get white collar jobs. In the US that coencided with the gov backing student loans, which meant anyone could get a loan bc it was guaranteed repayment. That caused a massive boom in college students and also jacked the school prices way up. Now that the boomer guys are retiring it's creating a massive shortage in blue collar workers.
It's an incredible opportunity for people to get in on. I did it for 10 years before switching career paths. But blue collar guys are the ones with the disposable income now lol. It's a cool shift to see.
English

@RWMaloneMD @Megatron_ron I bet this will be in a position to re run for office in my county as he’s lost two times.
He will now position himself as the moderate and less hardcore.
the proud boys title etc that was advertised by the county opposition ruined his election.
English

@Megatron_ron I don't believe a word of it - because if this was true, it would be classified information.
Even he isn't a big enough of a moron to be sharing classified information like that.
English

@TheWand36470391 @K_L_M @elonmusk @SpaceX @Tesla And then you hire people like me I’ve installed every process of tooling to make said chips in all the companies. No every gas for the chambers. And there are thousands of me out there.
It’s not some magic like everyone thinks. It’s just f tons of money.
