UniswapX는 RFQ, 즉 호가제시요청을 위한 프로토콜이다. intent 기반 스왑이라고 볼 수도 있음. 구조는 간단한데, 1. 사용자(swapper)가 특정 규격의 order를 제출 (A토큰 X개를 지불하고 B토큰 Y개를 몇월 몇일 몇시까지 받고 싶다). 일반적인 스왑 tx에서는 직접 tx를 보내지만, UniswapX에서는 Permit2라는 컨트랙트에만 동의하고, 그 이후에는 서명만 해서 signed order를 보냄. 2. Quoter(or filler, or LP 등등)는 이 signed order를 보고 호가를 대는데, 이 때 최적의 호가를 제출한 filler가 해당 tx를 온체인에 제출할 수 있음. 만약 일정 기간 내에 filler가 이 거래를 처리하지 못하면 Dutch auction 방식으로 아무 filler나 참여할 수 있게 됨. 3. Filler가 거래 대상 자산을 확보하면 Executor 컨트랙트가 위 Permit2 컨트랙트를 통해 사용자의 자산 A를 가져오고, 사용자가 원하는 자산 B를 입금함. 이 경우 Swapper가 갖는 이점은 - Gasless한 거래 (사용자는 서명만 할 뿐, 세틀은 Filler가 함. 물론 그만큼 가스비를 charge하게 될 것) - 유리한 가격 (최적의 호가를 제출해서 거래 권한을 받기 위해 Filler는 MEV 등 부가수익의 일부를 포기하고 사용자에게 넘겨줘야 함 + Filler가 자산을 CEX에서 가져오건 뭘하건 상관없이 최적의 가격에만 가져오면 됨) - 크로스체인 (역시 Filler가 자산을 가져오고 보내므로 native $ETH-native $AVAX 거래를 할 때 아발란체 체인에 $AVAX 안들고 있어도 됨 단, 구조상 중앙화 문제가 있는데 Swapper가 signed order를 보내는 대상은 @Uniswap의 중앙화된 서버이며, 중앙화된 서버에서 Quote를 받아오는 Filler들은 @Uniswap에서 선정한 permissioned set이다. 이 구조가 UX를 개선하기 위함이라는 것은 알지만, 굳이 탈중앙화와 무신뢰성을 희생해서 UX를 갖추려면 그냥 오프체인 오더북을 쓰는게 낫지 않냐?는 비판이 존재.
