Andreessen Horowitz (@a16zcrypto) is one of the world's leading VC funds in crypto. According to data from @coingecko, the total market cap of tokens in the "a16z Portfolio" category is currently about $389B, mainly coming from blue-chips such as $ETH, $SOL, $AVAX. But I see some tokens in their portfolio are undervalued compared to their actual potential and role. Here are 4 typical projects: 1/ @Aptos A16z invests: Lead Series A in 2022 with $150M (total round $200M). Compare with #Near and #Sui: > Aptos stands out with a very high number of transfer stablecoins, showing strong practical activity. > In terms of speed, Aptos is equal or slightly better than Sui in some on-chain indicators. > Aptos' market cap is currently only about ~$700M, while Near and Sui have significantly higher valuation 2/ @LidoFinance A16z invested $70M in 2022 (one of the big investments in liquid staking). Compare with @eigencloud (EIGEN), @ether_fi, @RenzoProtocol: > Lido currently has a TVL of ~$19B, still the largest liquid staking protocol on Ethereum with an outstanding market share. > Restaking projects such as EigenLayer, EthFi, Renzo are hotter in terms of narrative, leading to much higher valuation even though TVL and the actual role have not surpassed Lido. 3/ @Optimism A16z invested $90M in $OP tokens in its 2024 private funding round. Compare with @arbitrum: > OP has solid OP Stack technology, but is currently inferior in TVL and popularity compared to Arbitrum. > OP's market cap is only about ~$230M, significantly lower than the position of a leading L2. 4/ @AleoHQ A16z led a $28 million Series A funding round in 2021. Compare with @zama and @Zcash: > Aleo is one of the earliest privacy projects, focusing on zero knowledge applications. > $ZAMA and $ZEC have hotter narrative privacy recently, leading to a much higher valuation even though Aleo has a solid technical background from an early age. I realize that in the current market period, many tokens in their portfolios are undervalued because: > Narrative has not come or has passed the boom (L2, privacy). > The market prioritizes short term hype over fundamentals. > Bear market makes valuation compressed together. This is not investment advice. DYOR

The next crypto crash might not start in crypto. It could be triggered by a silent liquidity crisis unfolding in Japan. Japan’s economy has been built for decades on extremely low interest rates. This means its financial system struggles when long-term rates rise too much. When 30-year bond yields move higher, borrowing becomes more expensive across the system. At the same time, existing bonds lose value, creating losses for banks and pension funds. These losses reduce confidence and make institutions more cautious with money. As a result, less money flows through the system, this is what we call “liquidity tightening.” Japan is important because it has long provided cheap money to the rest of the world. Investors often borrowed yen at low rates and invested in riskier assets globally. When Japanese yields rise, this strategy becomes less attractive or even risky. Investors start pulling money back, which drains liquidity from global markets. Crypto depends heavily on this global flow of easy money. When liquidity tightens, people reduce risk and sell volatile assets like crypto. This is why $BTC and especially altcoins often drop during these periods. Altcoins usually fall more because they are less stable and more speculative. A stronger Japanese yen can also reduce the amount of dollars circulating globally. Less dollar liquidity generally puts pressure on all risk assets. However, rising stress often forces central banks to step in. The Bank of Japan may intervene to stabilize markets and lower yields again. This can involve printing money or buying bonds to inject liquidity back into the system. When liquidity returns, risk assets tend to recover. This is why periods of stress can later turn into strong rallies. The key idea is simple: more liquidity pushes crypto up, less liquidity pushes it down. Japan is just one piece of the global system, but an important one. It doesn’t cause crashes on its own, but it can accelerate broader market moves. In short: rising Japanese yields = tightening liquidity = short-term pressure on crypto. But if central banks react, it can later become fuel for the next bull run.

$TAO > $BTC? Sounds controversial, but I think it’s worth thinking about. I spent time digging into community insights, podcasts, and perspectives from people like Barry Silbert. The more I looked into it, the more this started to make sense. [1] Same structure as Bitcoin, but with higher utility – 21M supply cap, 4-year halving – Fair launch, no VC, no premine But the key difference: – BTC → Proof of Work (network security). – TAO → Proof of Useful Work (real AI output). → Same energy cost, completely different output. [2] $TAO | @opentensor creates value, not just stores it According to Barry Silbert: – BTC spends billions yearly on security – TAO directs that incentive into solving real problems → AI, data, compute, agents become direct outputs [3] TAO is still early – BTC: ~17 years old, massive market cap – TAO: ~4 years, still building infra Many compare TAO today to Bitcoin in 2011. → The upside profile is completely different. [4] This is a bigger narrative than money BTC solves: – ownership of money TAO is moving toward: – ownership of intelligence. – anyone can train models. – anyone can monetize AI. – no reliance on Big Tech. → This is a new economic layer. [5] Recent performance is starting to reflect this – TAO has outperformed BTC during AI runs. – Institutional attention is growing (Grayscale, major listings). → This looks like early signals, not the top $BTC remains a core asset, I still hold it. But in terms of upside and narrative in the AI era, $TAO has a clearer positioning. Trust in $TAO. Ofc, NFA.

Full story : Someone just lost $50 million in 30 seconds. And no single person stole it. Here is exactly what happened in simple terms. A trader tried to swap $50 million of USDT into AAVE tokens using a DeFi app on their mobile phone. The app showed a massive slippage warning. They ignored it. Slippage means the price moves against you because your trade is too big for the available liquidity. Like trying to sell 1000 houses in one day. The price collapses because the market cannot absorb it. They sent $50 million. They received 324 AAVE tokens worth $36,000. $50 million in. $36 thousand out. So where did the other $49.9 million go? MEV bots spotted the transaction before it confirmed and front ran it taking roughly $10 million. Block builders who process transactions on the blockchain collected $27 to $34 million in fees. Liquidity providers and sellers who dumped AAVE at inflated prices during the chaos took the rest. Nobody hacked anything. Nobody broke any rules. The code worked exactly as designed. The trader just ignored the warning on a $50 million transaction on a mobile phone. Aave offered $600K as goodwill. The remaining $49.3 million is gone forever. DeFi does not have a customer service number. There is no refund department. There is no "I made a mistake" button.

Stop being delusional. If we’re talking about overall power, especially military strength, advanced weapons systems, defense technology, global bases, and operational reach, the U.S. is far ahead of India. There’s nothing wrong with being patriotic, but facts don’t change because of emotions.
VPS Today@smithstevey124

@TyrantOppressor This is true btw. India is so powerful in terms of military powers some of the most evil nations like USA and China don't have the balls to challenge us in a direct war. We can do extreme damages. You think China wouldn't have tried otherwise. Dont miss things. Every prob is dif.

Recently there has been inaccurate reporting about our compliance program. The Wall Street Journal published defamatory claims, and despite our efforts to set the record straight, the journalist failed to acknowledge any of our corrections on the allegations.
