It was an honour to meet with Hon. Gen. (Rtd) Dr. C. G. D. N. Chiwenga, Vice President of the Republic of 🇿🇼. 🤝 We reaffirmed our shared commitment to further deepening our longstanding friendship and broadening bilateral cooperation across key sectors, including renewable energy, transportation, artificial intelligence, and skills development — vital drivers to unlock Zimbabwe’s immense potential and bolster its competitiveness as a prime investment destination. 🇨🇳🇿🇼 We also exchanged perspectives on strategically leveraging China’s zero-tariff policy to catalyse local value addition, generate employment and boost fiscal revenue.🤝

On this day in 2023, Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of Russia’s Wagner Group, launched one of the most dramatic challenges to Vladimir Putin’s rule. Angered by what he said was the Russian military command’s reckless sacrifice of Wagner fighters in the brutal battle for Bakhmut, Prigozhin turned his forces against Moscow’s military leadership. Wagner troops seized key sites in Rostov-on-Don, rolled out tanks and armoured vehicles, and began what he called a “march of justice” towards Moscow. As the convoy advanced, Wagner forces shot down an IL-22 command aircraft and five military helicopters sent to monitor and stop them. But the rebellion never reached Moscow. After a phone call with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Prigozhin abruptly called off the march and agreed to relocate some of his fighters to Belarus. Just two months later, Prigozhin and several of his closest associates were killed

I am back and I have a Question. Since @nelsonchamisa created his last opposition party, has anyone else managed to create a better or stronger opposition party?

Last year on 13 December 2025 he had this to say(video attached), 6 months down the line, nothing has materialized. This “Chapwati” only surfaces when certain genuine democrats are on to something against the regime. Clearly there is a strategy and role playing to this. I have said it before, the plan is to mobilize unsuspecting, gullible citizens and pacify them. This has been the case since 2018.

@BlackPride23 @EmmanuelGumbo_ Not every plan succeeds and not every hope materialises. Thats politics, not magic. Yet when he speaks you complain, when he stays silent you complain, and when he offers hope you complain. At this point you're less a political analyst and more a full-time NC complaint department

@BlackPride23 @EmmanuelGumbo_ Shut up for who? If you don't want to hear him, shut your ears. We are interested. And when he rolls out a plan, we understand it may fail because we're confronting a sophisticated regime. Its strange that his supporters seem more realistic about the challenges than his critics.

I'm shocked at how easily some Zimbabweans forget history. Rtd Gen. Constantine Chiwenga was among people at the forefront of the brutal 2008 repression against Morgan Tsvangirai and MDC activists. As Army Commander, he publicly declared that the army “will not support or salute sell-outs and agents of the West” before, during, and after the elections which was a direct threat to any MDC victory. Under his command as the General, soldiers were deployed in rural areas for “Operation Makavhotera Papi?” carrying out systematic beatings, torture, and killings of suspected MDC supporters. In Buhera, Advocate Eric Matinenga (MDC MP for Buhera West) dragged Chiwenga and Major Svosve to the High Court and won a ruling declaring the army deployment unlawful. Yet the terror continued. Soldiers and army-led gangs killed: • Matanda Taurai — shot dead by soldiers at Murambinda growth point (24 May 2008) • Mavhangira Pepukai, Makanyisa Chris & Masuka Albert — killed by a gang led by army Col. Mzilikazi (20 June 2008) Hundreds died nationwide under his watch. Now some are hailing the same man as a “saviour”? This selective amnesia is dangerous. Mugabe, Mnangagwa and Chiwenga belong in the same bracket as architects of repression. Zimbabwe will never be saved by architects of its problems. We The People can only forge our way to genuine freedom!!!. #ZanuPFMustGo #NoToCAB3
