But let me ask the international community a serious question: What is the actual goal here? If the strategy is to just starve the Iranian people until they protest, while leaving the IRGC’s heavily armed suppression forces completely untouched, you are just setting us up for another January massacre. You are a General. If you tell troops someone is dangerous, what do you think that does? You know what it does. Because you are a General.
The second and third order effects of these words ripples across the cosmos of chaos and amplifies until someone is driven to the edge of madness and sprints toward our Commander and Chief with a gun. Totally unfazed about whether they live or die in the process of killing their “dangerous” target because General McCaffrey told him it was righteous.
Why is it righteous to that person? Because one of the highest ranking officers in the most trusted institution in the nation made the label. And in the mind of a psychotic individual, that can be perceived as all the permission they need to pull the trigger. It’s now sanctioned because a man with immense public trust and position told him so.

So I talked to our PD's firearm's instructor and showed him this picture. His take on the picture was this:
The Agent on the left is at what our PD generally referred to as the "Ready Gun" position. That's where you scan and assess your environment and you're prepared to bring your pistol up to a firing position.
The female agent is in a modified "Weaver" shooting position and in that case she needed to be looking at her sights (admittedly, this photo is a snapshot and maybe she was the bulk of the time) but the point is she was in a firing position, not a scan and assess "Ready gun" position.
The guy to her left looks like he just totally confused or situationally overwhelmed.
Anyone disagree?

I've been a retired cop for 18 years but when I was working, we were taught that the pistol always followed your eyes. As you can see here, that's not the case and I'm not picking on her because she's female. Has the training changed?

It constantly irritates me that almost everyone addresses the King incorrectly.
We never referred to Elizabeth II as “Queen Elizabeth”. It was always either “The Queen” or “Her Majesty”.
Theres only one King here. It’s either His Majesty, His Majesty The King, or simply The King.

Can we please note that it's (almost) never "King Charles". Any of the following are fine though - His Majesty the King - His Majesty - His Britannic Majesty - The King - King Charles III (the III is not optional) - Charles III (never just Charles, you need the III again) - Charles III By the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and His other Realms and Territories King Head of the Commonwealth Defender of the Faith (ok maybe don't use that one)
