@streech85 @MarathonDevTeam Don't dump greys into it, pick up implants and cores. Purple cores for shells you don't play, attachments for guns you don't use. One purple attachment will give more xp than 4 grey weapons

Oh, fair enough, that wasn't clear from the initial post. I'd need to check the mechanics of how that proposal is mooted to work, because there's no state pension young people contribute to for themselves to take it from, it's a real time tax to benefit payment where young people pay current pensioners, not their own. And we can't afford that already. FWIW I wrote a white paper a few months back about state pension reform.

@WoSSCrypto @jamieecollinsx It's state pension, not a private pension. There is no interest in it. You receive this amount from the government each year after turning 67 and that's it. The plan is to let 28-40 year olds receive 12.5k early and then retire at 68 instead

@jamieecollinsx Your £12,500 now costs you around £187,200 from your pension pot on retirement (assuming 48). Personally, I think it's a terrible idea for a country already under provisioned for retirement. But if it were to happen people should at least understand the full cost over a lifetime

The issue with destiny is that no one buys anything outside the expansions. 90% of the skins suck, it's why I've pretty much exclusively ran the first solstice armour since it came out

Can have a small population that spend often or a large population that might not spend at all (because they don't have to) I bought silver like twice ever

@splashymcsplash @lumbogg Yet sony and bungie are commited to supporting marathon. There's no way to earn the premium skins in marathon and I see them often. Each one costs about £15 so for someone to have all the skins they'll need to drop about 150 on the game.

I think if people realized how much cheaper developing and maintaining marathon is compared to destiny 2 we’d stop seeing these arguments

@splashymcsplash @lumbogg Would also like to point out that even with 100k on steam, the trial pop is only 8k across all platforms. Proving that the destiny PvP is well and truly dead. Crucible was my main mode and I left for marathon because of how it got treated

@splashymcsplash @lumbogg If destiny players were willing to show they want D3 they would bust out their wallets and spend 1500 each on silver. The 400k signatures each spending 1500 on destiny would be enough to fund it. But destiny players just buy the expansions and that's it. Because of bright dust
