It’s a nasty series and both teams have crossed lines. But no one has been cheaper/more dirty in this series than Konecny, whose cross check of Crosby after the game had ended was clear intent to injure. Earlier in this series, Konecny tried to kick Rust. Very dirty player.

I like the commendation system as a way to promote players who are a good time. I dislike the commendation system as it is now. I feel commendations don't need an incentive past just giving them, no reward. Untethered from in-game LFG, this feels empty.

There have been over 3 million matches Trials matches played this week so far. That's the most since the first three weeks after the Trials revamp in September 2021.
