@BlitzAres @Z4BTC_ I think your argument for average is off. 5 is objectively okay looking but unattractive, 6 is the threshold of attraction and 7 is legitimately pretty/ good body. Your definition of 8-10 is too narrow.

Not a single woman in this picture is remotely close to a 7/10. At best, they qualify for a 5’6”–5’10” male making $75k a year and who is a 5/10 in looks, and that’s being generous. The problem with modern dating can be summed up by the fact that the women in this picture would projectile vomit if you showed them their looks match.

@rudiushealth @Z4BTC_ If 10 is an objectively perfect women, 9 is likely the hottest woman in her town, 8 is a woman that turns heads, 7 would be the one in a group of girls that men all vie for. These girls are genuinely around average which would be 5.

@Z4BTC_ A couple of them are 7s, but yeah they vary from average to decently above average in looks.

@BlitzAres @Kevin_Root I do. Spent lot of time w accountants & lawyers about laws/policies around & client-facing statements about this. AFs and SCs are different, but the description of what it is and how establishment will use it is the important/binding part.

@JCleverOne @getoutofjp @Kevin_Root You are somewhat correct. Thats why most service industry vets avoid places like this. When its worded like this and not a tip all the regulatory laws are bypassed and many owners do siphon money off. Ive also seen many places that do split fairly. My point still stands.

@BlitzAres @getoutofjp @Kevin_Root Look at the print. It says nothing about the service fee being distributed amongst the back of the house staff-just that ensures they are fairly compensated. They aren’t seeing a dime of that service fee beyond their regular wages.

@quinceleaf @Kevin_Root I couldn't care less about that. Different topic for a different post. I loathe all pools and the places that run them. This post was to provide clarification for what a service charge is and if its a tip.

@BlitzAres @Kevin_Root Pooled restaurants have tips pooled across the FOH staff (servers, maitre d', bussers), usually on a tiered system. From my sharing hundreds of family meals with servers (I was kitchen), servers don't mind sharing with bussers, but the maitre d' % is usually egregiously high

@quinceleaf @Kevin_Root Ive worked in the industry for 15 years. Admin fees and service charges are completely different and you should know that if you are in the industry

@BlitzAres @Kevin_Root From my 25+ years in hospitality: servers do not get any part of a service charge, admin fee or the similarly worded. Depending on the venue/policy, it may be for the business only (not for employees), may be shared only among managers, may be shared only among kitchen staff.

@getoutofjp @Kevin_Root Yeah all these people are getting bent out of shape in the replies and still have no idea the reasoning. Its just about the tip laws. Tips have very strict laws. Service charges do not.

@Kevin_Root The wording is intentional. There are very strict laws regarding how tips need to be handled among employees. When you change it to a "service charge" all of those laws are no longer applicable. Its very much on purpose. All pool restaurants are notorious in the industry.

flight attendant just told me that if my baby ends up needing a life jacket they’ll bring us a special baby one at that time lol. yeah i am sure that’s the kind of thing that’d be going down if we hit the pacific ocean.

I think my highest exposure player in dynasty from this rookie class is going to end up Zavion Thomas. Top-90 draft capital to Ben Johnson where the current WR3 is Khalif Raymond. 4.28 speed at 190 lbs. I'm not saying he's Tyreek Hill (no one is!). But the way he changes direction at speed at that mass looks very very similar. What if Rome isn't actually an alpha? There's a pathway to targets in a Ben Johnson offense, with Caleb Williams, and he's going in the 4th round of rookie drafts.

@T0MMATHAN I remember when I first got Grand Champ in rocket league i was so excited to finally get there and be in the top 1% in the world only to realize how bad I still was comparatively. Made me stop playing ranked cold turkey and I never went back.

Being top 10% at a video game is the same kinda good as being good at smash bros or chess compared to your friends casually. But like if you pull up to a tourney vs actual competitors youre going out so sad

my MIL is arriving in 4 hours and my house is a disaster including the room she’s staying in, and i just have no motivation to deal with this. i know extra chores come with the territory of having guests, but i didn’t particularly want to have any guests rn. i want to spend my remaining time here eating weird meals over the sink in my sweatpants while i haphazardly pack for our trip, not trying to host with a barren fridge and a filthy house and a baby who wails whenever a stranger makes eye contact with him. i wish i could just be the like, perfect all-giving woman who effortlessly does all of this stuff with a smile but im just not like that. i am not smiling. i am covered with baby vomit and dealt with two blowouts today and my baby wouldn’t let me put him down all afternoon and i’m annoyed i now somehow have another person to take care of.
