@lowkflex @EvilWomanLiker Organizing your books by color is more or less just advertising that these things are for decoration and nothing else; this is how you organize books if you don't need to find a specific book ever and you want observers actively distracted from the content of everything.

@lolo_tho College assignments may have been stressful sometimes, but getting through it all, getting that sense of accomplishment, you feel real good. I fear that AI use will result in some self esteem crisis where users feel they aren’t capable of anything.

I think the opposite will be true. As AI video gets increasingly slick, people will become nostalgic for all the weird imperfections--too many fingers, janky movement, inconsistent characters--of early AI and even emulate them on purpose. Brian Eno predicted it:

Not many people realize this but when AI video gets (inevitably) better than human made videos, most human made content will look like complete slop.

Because the Gulf of Mexico used to have its own native seal species- the Caribbean Monk seal. It was hunted to extinction and declared as such in 2008 after 50 years of no reliable sightings.
