Absolutely terrible decision by #Labour's London Mayor this evening. Unbelievably, he is ending the discount on the #congestioncharge for #zeroemission vehicles! This was just a little bit of help to encourage people who need a car to do the right thing. Until we bring air pollution problems down, we will never convince more people to walk and cycle. Air pollution means more stay in their cars! Read the story via @BBCNews bbc.com/news/articles/… Tackling #airpollution is one of my top priorities. But Sadiq has consistently failed to get the worst polluting vehicles off #London's roads. The fact we have any buses left that are not low emission vehicles is a disgrace that's literally hurting every one here. And it's entirely down to him.
