@OpConfusion Decide on the type of impact that’s really important to you. Figure out how to do that from where you are in a way that suits who you want to serve. Higher rank gives more power but not necessarily more influence over more people-effect is diluted + often distorted by CoC

The sad fact is that to reach more people, you have to climb higher. This gets hard when you don't always focus up as some, not all, will not seek out evidence of your impact. Anyway, the more I think on it, the more 360° reporting seems like a good idea.

Anyone else get fed up and think it far easier just to "play the game"? I know I'm not a stereotypical officer. I want to improve the lived experience of people like me. Being told that you: "challenge too much" "aren't quite there" [on personality not performance]

On my CLM and was asked to give a 60min presentation on Empowerment, obviously I said yes. Concerning though that only 4 had heard of the @field_army Empowerment project. @Empowrd_Soldier what is the next step? Should the approach be changed? Genuine questions; the WOs are key 😬

@a_reluctant @BritishArmy @ArmyCGS There is a new platform but it hasn’t been formally launched yet. It is much better and allows collaboration, voting, discussion etc as well as input of problems and/or ideas. Platform is Wazoku run. Army version is called Think Tank.

@BritishArmy @ArmyCGS Something like GEMS, but much less shit, to give innovative people a platform? It must be accessible and useable to all, not just those serving. Innovation is out there, classification is only an issue when you act on the ideas. Also, incentivise people. Any thoughts @BrAIN_Army?

@Barney065 Are you specifically pointing at my personal character in these tweets or does it just feel that way? Majority of my time is spent helping other people’s workstrands benefit the org. None of which are traced to me. People quick to throw stones cos some of my stuff is public.
