@Canellelabelle Yes I knew she was wrong on the engagement photo call. She was posing and he was all but holding up her leg…just so lacking in poise and not a humble bone in her body. He’s just as bad.

Gyle Brandreth, an author very close to the Royal family once wrote in 'Philip, The Final portrait': "I know [Prince Philip] liked the personal style of William and Catherine, because he told me so. In 2013 when, after 69 years in post, he stepped down as President of NPFA, Prince Philip chose Prince William to succeed him and was delighted by how effortlessly his grandson slipped into the role. When Catherine came along as a potential bride for his grandson, the Duke of Edinburgh was, he told me, ‘relieved to find her such a level-headed girl’"😍 Brandreth continues "Prince Philip knew from his own experience that her life in the royal spotlight wasn’t going to be easy. He Warned: 'If you believe the attention is for you personally, you’re going to end up in trouble. The attention is for your role, what you do, what you’re supporting.  It isn’t for you as an individual.  You are not a celebrity. You are representing the Royal Family. That’s all. Don’t look at the camera. The Queen never looks at the camera. Never. Look at who you’re talking to. Look at what you’ve come to see.’🔥🔥🔥 I have been on walkabout with the Duchess of Cambridge. She never looks at the camera"🤩Brandreth finished. Catherine and William indeed listened and learned from the best mentors they could have had: The Queen and Prince Philip. Today, Prince Philip would be proud of who they have matured to become and how his Grandson, William rise above challenges with utmost maturity and never embrace victimhood. As Prince William said years back in an interview: "I am in the position I am in. Criticism is part of the turf, I'm afraid. I’m going to get plenty of criticism over my lifetime and it is something that I don’t completely ignore, but it is not something I take completely to heart. I carry out the duties the Queen asks me to, I have my charities and causes and I am raising a young family. So, I cannot let criticism get to me"🔥 #PrinceandPrincessofWales

@Bennieeexyz Day trip to Calais with friends and OH. Went for lunch but dessert menu not written. Waiter spoke fast & we didn't get it. I'd not used French since O level about 45 years before. Asked him in French to please repeat, slowly and louder which he did. The others jaws had dropped!

It was so refreshing to note that the Princess of Wales only wore 2 outfits during her 3 day visit to Italy. She was completely focused on her projects and raising global awareness for early years education, not to mention showcasing Italian food! No constant seeking out of the cameras placement, no merching her clothes (that happens organically), no numerous outfit changes, no hurried and agitated meet and greets, no rushing about half heartedly talking to people, no bored sulky face, and no fixed rictus grin! Just calm serenity, genuine love, and interest in the people Catherine met, along with a humble humility in knowing how well she was received, and how warmly she was welcomed... 🇮🇹 💚🤍❤️

I do not feel sorry for any of them. I feel sorry for the pensioners who lost their winter fuel payments, the waspi women, the farmers inc those who committed suicide rather than not be able to pass their family farms on, the 1000s & 1000s of people who have lost their jobs as companies fold, the children removed from their schools & friends… non of it raising money for Britain, just tasty student envy politics & economic illiteracy

@cleanupbritain @Howie4991 @benonwine We used to do an 800 mile return journey to visit our parents, as well as ourselves we had our three children with us. I always kept a bag for rubbish in the car which was disposed of once we reached our destination. There is no excuse for littering it is pure laziness!

According to Radar Online, Meghan Markle allegedly underwent “humility training” ahead of last month’s Australian tour… which is extraordinary when one considers that most adults are expected to acquire humility naturally sometime between adolescence and paying their first electricity bill. The fact that such training was reportedly considered necessary at all tells you everything. Palace staff used to train royals in diplomacy, constitutional nuance, charitable engagement and statecraft. Now, apparently, we’ve reached the stage where Montecito Palace aides are forced to desperately attempting to explain concepts such as “don’t behave as though you’re accepting tribute from peasants” before public appearances. And even then, the tour still managed to acquire that unmistakable air of celebrity entitlement wrapped in royal cosplay. There is something uniquely exhausting about Meghan’s particular brand of grandeur. It is not the quiet confidence of genuine status… the sort possessed effortlessly by people who have nothing to prove. No, this is the brittle, theatrical self-importance of someone permanently auditioning for reverence. Every walkabout becomes a performance. Every handshake feels choreographed for Netflix slow-motion footage. Every appearance carries the faint atmosphere of a woman expecting applause simply for existing in expensive (albeit unironed) fabric. One imagines exhausted advisers sitting in briefing rooms before departure saying things like: “Perhaps fewer diva moments this time, ma’am.” “Maybe avoid making everything about yourself duchess.” “Try not to look personally offended when attention briefly shifts to literally anyone else your highness.” A monumental task, clearly. The irony, of course, is that genuinely important people rarely need “humility training” because humility is usually the by-product of substance, intelligence and emotional security. Those secure in their stature do not spend every waking second curating their mythology like a fading Hollywood publicist fighting for column inches. And that is ultimately Meghan’s problem. Everything feels managed. Manufactured. Performed. Even the attempts at relatability arrive lacquered in self-conscious image control. So the notion that Montecito aides allegedly attempted to soften the edges before Australia is entirely believable. By last month, even sympathetic observers seemed to detect the exhausting pattern… the relentless self-promotion, the quasi-royal staging, the carefully cultivated aura of importance surrounding two people who voluntarily left the institution they continue monetising with Olympic endurance. The tour itself felt less like statesmanship and more like a travelling influencer campaign with security detail. As for the alleged humility training? If true, one suspects the instructors emerged from the experience needing both a stiff gin and extended medical leave.
