Have always said Ongata Rongai is an alien place! A brother who lives there confirms its oddity whilst crying for help in a matrimonial entanglement. Instead of @KWSKenya confirming a brother’s very plausible exculpatory explanation, KWS throws him under the bus & chooses to absolve the suspect monkey! Very unfair for KWS to choose a monkey over a brother in distress! My friend, Erastus Kanga, the KWS DG should resolve the matter & arrest the monkey!

The Ruto regime had a choice of taking austerity measures, cutting waste and corruption, reducing levies and other measures to cushion Kenyans from the historical 24.5 % increase in fuel prices. Instead, it chose to allocate 8 million a day for the Deputy President’s helicopter services and 17.2 million a day on tea and mandazi for State House, while ordinary Kenyans suffer. The unveiling economic hardship is unsustainable.@UGMParty @Maraga27

For the dinner scene in Sicario (2015) Benicio del Toro cut 90% of his dialogue. The script featured a long speech explaining his revenge but he told Denis Villeneuve that his character did not travel there to talk. He went there to kill.

Rigathi Gachagua put goons in the roads leading to Kikuyu and now he is staging entry as if someone blocked him. These are politics of desperation.

As well captured by the two leading dailies, goonism has become the operational module for Mr. William Ruto’s administration. Cornered and loathed by Kenyans for mismanaging the country and making corruption the way of life, William Ruto has sought the services of goons to keep him in power and deal with leaders and Kenyans opposed to his leadership that had messed the country in a record three years. Goons are now part of the National Police service and work alongside the police in causing chaos and unleashing violence against innocent Kenyans. It is now apparent that the mission to Haiti had nothing to do with helping the country suppress criminal gangs but was a benchmarking expedition for our police to learn how to work with criminal gangs to run politics. Indeed, since then, criminal gangs have become very active - acting with impunity and no longer hide that they work alongside the police. Police have confirmed to us in confidence that goons are deployed to work alongside the police on orders of CS Murkomen and PS Raymond Omollo. The two goon masters were all over yesterday issuing all manner of statements condemning goons and promising swift and decisive action. Little did Kenyans know that they had already authorised a request by Kimani Ichung'wa to allow goons and police to terrorize innocent Kenyans ahead of my meeting in Kikuyu constituency which Ichung'wa has vowed will not take place. At 5am this morning, goons from Kibra blocked all roads leading to Kikuyu with rocks, lit fires and deflated tyres of semi trailers while robbing and beating motorists. To confuse the victims that they were not sent by Government they were shouting WANTAM, a slogan identified with the opposition. For two hours they terrorized motorists and the police were no where to be seen. It was ordinary citizens who quickly organized themselves, fought the goons, put out the fires and restored order on our roads and traffic flow resumed. The Police only came at 9.30am pretending to act after citizens drove the goons out and restored order and normalcy. Ordinary Kenyans have taken over police duties and are currently guarding Business premises in Kikuyu town and making sure goons are not allowed in the town to loot property and cause mayhem. It is a shame that the police at the behest of a politician and a rogue administration have abdicated their duties forcing citizens to step in. I once more appeal to the Inspector General of Police Mr. Douglas Kanja not to allow the police in Kikuyu to be used by the said politician to join goons in disrupting our meeting. We are peaceful people who have held countless peaceful meetings elsewhere including Kabete and Kikuyu constituency is not an exception. I appeal to all our supporters to attend our peaceful meeting this afternoon as the town has been secured and all is well. |Photos courtesy|

WHY GACHAGUA SAID “WE CAN WORK WITH YOU” These five words that have set every tongue wagging since yesterday at the burial of MP Njuguna Kiaraho. Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua looked straight at President William Ruto and said, clearly, “We can work with you.” Those words landed like a Marakwet diver in the Cheploch gorge. Ruto’s people heard an olive branch being extended, the first step toward negotiations, a door cracking open for Gachagua to return to the government. But the anti-Ruto group, me included, heard betrayal in the making. Both sides are now watching Gachagua’s every move like hawks. But a closer look reveals the real game. Rigathi did not beg or surrender. He played a deadly chess move and threw bones to both the government and the opposition, and at the same time captured the ears of every Kenyan to listen to what he says next. From the very first moment he stood up, he showed who truly rules the mountain. He did not begin the usual way; he calmed the restless crowd, shielded Ruto from the heckling that was already brewing, then went ahead to roast the President kama swara inside a chepkube fire. Everyone thought they knew what was coming, but they were wrong. The words have already done their work. In the opposition, a quiet crack has appeared from information I gather. One group is furious, shouting about an imminent betrayal. Another group is quietly leaning toward the idea of talks. The angry ones, those who want nothing to do with Ruto, have now become Gachagua’s solid core. They will be team Alpha. The second group, the fence-sitters and the hidden moles, have been smoked out into the open. That was exactly what the five words were meant to do. On Ruto’s side the same division has opened. Some close to the President are already pushing him to negotiate, even to drop the impeachment case hanging over Gachagua. Another group, especially the broadbased one is biting their jaw with refusal. With 2027 drawing near and Ruto’s own star fading while Gachagua’s grows brighter, the choice is no longer simple. Ruto is not new with dumping and picking. Yet others are worried that Rigathi Gachagua may not be looking for a seat at Ruto’s table. He has no interest in re-joining the government. What he wants is simple: he wants Ruto himself to hand him the political sword. He wants the President to feel the pressure and drop the impeachment case. The message hidden in those five words is: Drop the case and I slow down. Don't, and I finish you. But for a man whose political grave was supposed to be dug and filled within two weeks, Gachagua has snatched the moment again. Ruto is now sitting in the same tight corner he has put so many others in before. Force is the only way out, but force is not an option for a President who wants to face voters in 2027. The only clean move is to drop Broadbased, drop the case and renegotiate with Gachagua. He stands a better chance if he 'makes peace with these people' the way Gachagua advised him. But there is a problem. In Kikuyu, Gachagua said a few more things that carry even more weight. He knows Ruto will eventually try to use the impeachment to block him from running for President, and so he has created two different futures at once. He knows it's not a must he runs for president - there are 6 other principals he can back. If Ruto moves, Gachagua will re-move. He is not negotiating. He is disorienting. Picture it this way: Rigathi has caught a hyena, tied a flaming torch to its tail, and set the beast loose inside Ruto’s maize plantation in Sugoi. He still holds the rope and at any moment he can pull the hyena back. Or he can let the whole field burn. That is the real meaning of “we can work with you.” Follow this writer: Karomo Richu @tonykaromo - Advocacy Journalist

@JayGee47505179 @giveu2tictacs @KeruboSk You are what people call an educated idiot or fool bro. Fasting has shown that it can reverse diabetes, cancer and slow down aging. As for NIDDM it's normally treated with diet, exercise, and oral medication, although insulin may be required if the condition progresses.

@Brayo025 @giveu2tictacs @KeruboSk Two of the young skinny people I know with NIDDM were physically fit people who had physically demanding jobs. One of which was a college soccer coach. Intermittent fasting is a fad. I worked in clinical trial medicine in which we dealt with NIDDM population. Nice try though.

Ozempic was designed for diabetes. Then it became the biggest weight loss drug in history. Now a massive new study shows it also significantly reduces depression, anxiety, and addiction risk. One drug. Three completely different conditions. Science is barely keeping up with what GLP-1s are doing The study found that people taking semaglutide (the active ingredient in Ozempic and Wegovy) saw major drops in depression and anxiety alongside the weight loss effects everyone already knew about. It also showed reduced risk of substance use disorders. A weight loss drug that may help treat addiction. Nobody predicted that.

@JayGee47505179 @giveu2tictacs @KeruboSk Ever heard of something called tofi ( thin outside fat inside)? Diabetes is no joke it's cheaper both financially and emotionally to exercise and fix your diet by incorporating things like intermittent fasting compared to the pills and injections a diabetic person has to endure.

You know what bothers me about this whole thing? I am a diabetic. I take meds similar to this for it. The armchair, "experts" are trying to tell me that I should manage my diet and then I wouldn't have diabetes. They assume that type 2 diabetes is only for fat people. They obviously don't know the facts. About 10-15% of type 2 diabetes are of normal weight or underweight. I am in this group. Some of us have beta cell disfunction. The pancreas can't produce enough insulin. Some of us it is genetic. It is an inherited variation in your DNA that influence how your body handles blood sugar. So please stop telling people with type 2 diabetes that they can manage it with a diet. For a certain population, that is false.

@KeruboSk This is a bullshit take. The only reason it would seem to cure depression ( depression is a mindset not a disease ) is because fat lazy and low esteem people have found an easy way to cut weight without doing the work.
