punishing the rich means they just leave. Taxing the rich does not fix much, the top 1% already pay something like 90% of the taxes. Remove unnecessary regulation and gov't bloat. Right now 30% of a new home and 40% of new apartment cost goes to redundant gov't regulations, permits, delays, etc. Taxing the rich will not fix that or make housing affordable, removing burdensome regulations will.
