Transgender attorney begs for a female police officer after getting tackled to the ground before being jailed for contempt. Oklahoma attorney Rob Hopkins was caught on camera arguing with the judge. “I’m a transgender attorney practicing all over the state!” The argument continued to escalate before the judge called in officers who then took Hopkins to the ground. Hopkins was heard screaming “I can’t breathe” and begging for a female officer. Hopkins was reportedly held on a $25,000 bond.

The judge didn't explain why - he never interrupted her again which was the warning. Take your hatred for trans people out of the equation - if you were strongly advocating for the return of a child to their parent after that child was taken away by an illegal order, are you ok with a judge throwing out all laws and taking you into custody? Think hard about that.

She said "if you interrupt me one more time I'm holding you in direct contempt of court." Rob said "Yes ma'am". The judge then asked if Rob's client was available by phone, to which Rob affirmed, then the judge said to get her on the phone. Opposing counsel then objected, saying the mother would "never" appear in this court because they have a warrant for stealing (can't understand the entire argument but it sounded like taking the minor child away from the father) and Rob interrupted OPPOSING COUNSEL - not the Judge. The judge then called in the bailiffs without further warning or any finding of contempt. It sounded like the judge made an illegal ruling regarding custody of a minor child that had NEVER lived in the county - clearly outside of the court's jurisdiction.

@BretBryce @libsoftiktok Are you being serious? She did find this attorney in contempt, as can be heard perfectly clearly. Moreover, she gave an explicit warning on at least one occasion. That is the most outrageous behaviour from an attorney I have ever seen, and it warrants regulatory sanctions.

For months, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has continued to donate truckload after truckload of food donations to food banks across the United States. This is part of the America 250 celebration to honor the 250th anniversary of the United States. The CEO of one food bank in St. George, Utah said the donation will help take pressure off as they are seeing a big influx of families in need. Women in Relief Societies in Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Louisiana helped those in need and served as Jesus Christ would. Several recent activities helped babies, teens, senior citizens and first responders.

Elisjsha Dicken was shopping with his girlfriend at a mall in Indiana when a gunman started shooting in the food court. Putting his own life in danger, Elisjsha confronted the gunman and neutralized him within fifteen seconds... Countless lives were saved. Nicholas Bostic was delivering pizza in Indiana when he saw a house go up in flames. Without hesitating, he ran into the house and pulled four occupants out. He was then told there was a six year old child still inside. Bostic ran back into the fully engulfed home, found the child and while cradling her, he jumped out of a second story window to safety. A lot of attention is given to the worst of society, but we need to remember that the human spirit is still alive and well. These are the people that our attention should be focused on. Our lives are all elevated when we take seriously the responsibility of being our brothers keepers.
