Of course you did, @nytimes. Right as Jews are going offline for a holiday, you publish a classic sidestep piece, trying to once again defend @NickKristof's indefensibly poor reporting. Your failure of a defense ignores the substance of the problem and addresses only the process. Let me explain: nytimes.com/2026/05/21/opi…

The 2026 @WHO assembly opens today. On Wednesday, they will hold a special debate targeting Israel. Resolutions adopted since 2015: 🇮🇱 Israel 16 🇷🇺 Russia 4 🇮🇷 Iran 0 🇸🇩 Sudan 0 🇶🇦 Qatar 0 🇸🇾 Syria 0 🇨🇺 Cuba 0 🇸🇦 Saudi 0 🇨🇳 China 0 🇻🇪 Venezuela 0 🇿🇼 Zimbabwe 0 🇰🇵 North Korea 0

Today, delivering aid to people in severe need of assistance and under constant attack in #Kherson, a clearly marked @UN vehicle was struck by a drone. Over 200 civilians, mostly older people, remain there. More from the Head of @UNOCHA in Ukraine, who accompanied the convoy⬇️

🇱🇧 Lebanon to the U.N. Human Rights Council: “We refuse all accusations against Hezbollah. The Hezbollah party is a political Lebanese party in line with the Lebanese constitution.”

The recent UNESCO article boasting of its work in Gaza is puzzling. It claims verified damage to 164 cultural sites. There is one World Heritage site in Gaza, Saint Hilarion Monastery. unesco.org/en/articles/un…

The article also notes that UNESCO is training 1,010 journalists in Gaza. With a population of 2.1 million, that equates to 48 journalists per 100,000. The US ratio is 8 per 100,000. This seems a curious emphasis.

The list seems comprised mostly of building, mosques, and other sites of relatively recent vintage. Not to downgrade the damage, but do all 164 "embody the identity and history of the Palestinian people" in unique ways? unesco.org/en/gaza/assess…
