Visit bridge-2-humanity.org to tell Cisco to stop feeding Israel’s genocidal war chest by financially backing the apartheid regime. Spread the word and advocate for your city, county, company or university to end all Cisco contracts. #DumpCisco

Cisco-acquired Israeli companies feed Israel’s genocidal war chest by financially backing the apartheid regime. These cyber security capabilities are integrated into Cisco products that are being supplied back to the Israeli military.

Cisco's past, present and if they have their way, their future, consists of acquiring Israeli companies that feed Israel's war machine. Look no further than this most recent attempt by Cisco to acquire Astrix Security which is founded by former IDF soldiers. #DumpCisco

Over 40 civil society organizations worldwide are urging Meta to end its financial enablement of settler violence against Palestinians. New findings show that Meta is not only failing to remove harmful content, but allowing pages that promote violence, incitement, and illegal settlement activity to generate profit while Palestinians remain excluded from monetization programs. This double standard fuels harm and deepens digital inequality. 📄 Read the full letter: 7amleh.org/post/letter-to… @ActionAid @afsc_org @AMPalestine @adc @HuMENAorg @arocaction @skylineforhuman @bnnrc @madacenterps @IMSforfreemedia @RNW_Media @IFEX @novact__ @SMEX @MPower_Change @tech4palestine @AbolitionistLC @Bridge2Humanity @jvplive @fightfortheftr

Read Drop Site’s investigation into how Cisco enforces internal policies that dehumanize Palestinians and silence pro-Palestinian speech — all while supplying tech to the Israeli military for its genocidal war. “The level of dehumanization of Palestinians and Arabs in our workplace has become too much to bear,” a former Cisco employee told Drop Site. Link in reply.

NEW at @DropSiteNews “The level of dehumanization of Palestinians and Arabs in our workplace has become too much to bear,” a former Cisco employee told Drop Site. On March 25, Cisco’s Chief People, Policy & Purpose Officer Francine Katsoudas announced new internal “guardrails” restricting employee discussion of the Middle East—specifically Palestine—in company-wide forums. (Video obtained by Drop Site is attached). Just hours after the announcement, a pro-Palestine employee was fired. She told Drop Site the reason given was that her comments “contribute to a harmful work environment,” and said: “The reason given for my firing is pure hypocrisy. They fired me for resisting the use of my tech labor to harm Palestinians and other marginalized communities.” The crackdown continued over the next week: Cisco deleted its largest pro-Palestine WebEx chat group—Bridge to Humanity (B2H)—and took down its related educational site. Days later, additional employees involved in internal Palestine solidarity efforts were either fired or forced out. Internal surveys obtained by Drop Site showed that at least 32 Cisco employees had lost a total of 288 relatives in Gaza since October 2023. Drop Site’s investigation details the company’s speech crackdown, employee retaliation, and ties to Israel’s military operations. Read the full story by @ArchitMeta at the link shared below.

On Palestinian Prisoners’ Day, how does Israel utilize the technology supplied to it by complicit tech companies, and who are these companies, anyway? How can we take action against them on behalf of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails? #FreeThemAll

HP equipment is installed in the Israeli Prison Service’s central server farm, and the company has also supplied Israeli police with technology and support used to enforce its repression against the Palestinian people. Cisco provides phone-tapping services using the voice biometric data of Palestinian prisoners, many of whom are held without charge or trial in conditions so inhumane they have been described by a leading Israeli human rights group as “human chicken coops.”

REPOST: Open University Friends of Palestine raised alarm bells at a Cisco careers event. The OU enjoys a close partnership with Cisco & boasts it is one of the largest 'Cisco Academy Support Centres' in the world as well as mandating tech students study specific Cisco modules.

Even AI targeting systems used during the Gaza war rely on the computing infrastructure built by companies like Cisco. This is why activists around the world are calling for a boycott of Cisco. They've also invested $2 Billion in Israeli Tech Firms
