'Evil is the absence of empathy' maybe? I like Iain Banks, Alan Moore, Joe Strummer, Kris Kristofferson. Rather left wing. He/him.

I have received messages today telling me that I’m a ‘snowflake’ for taking issue with @CostaCoffee. If the modern definition of ‘snowflake’ is “someone who takes issue with the glorification of bodily mutilation for a mental health condition”, then I’m a massive snowflake ❄️

Same tactic being used for ULEZ critics as was the case for lockdowns and vaccine mandates. Oppose it, you're responsible for countless deaths. Obviously total nonsense, but an effective way to smear and censor dissenting voices. It's important to push back.

"Boycott Israel"? But Nye Bevan was a Zionist, campaigned for a homeland for the Jewish people in Israel and supported it after it was established. After visiting he told Labour leaders to go to renew “their faith in democracy and socialism”. That’s Labour’s traditional position.

EXCLUSIVE: Evidence has emerged of staff at @monzo holding gender critical beliefs in contempt. Employees joke about starting a “TERF war”. LGB Alliance are accused of “hate speech”. Staff quit because of the stress. Read the full exposé here. jamesesses.com/p/exclusive-ev…

@JenKteach The urinary leash was clearly a real phenomenon but also an 18th/19th C development relevant to particular classes and cultures and social hang ups about sexual prurience. Rural and agricultural people have pissed together for millennia.

@BridgefordMark Well since the urinary leash was abolished and public loos were installed for women from 1884... I don't want 3 spaces just the 2 one for each sex.

For all the "what about a third space", who see themselves as reasonable and rational people. THIS is why it won't work - Male AGP's don't WANT a third space - even when offered a third space they are offended - it is ALL about their validation and access to women. You can keep trying to be logical and rational - but when you see that isn't what this is about and the "no debate" side refuses - that's when you really see this for what it is!
Bessie Braddock@BraddockBessie

Man in a skirt is angry because he wasn't allowed to use the female facilities & was expected to use a unisex space This proves using female spaces is about validation for him Male validation doesn't trump women's privacy, dignity & safety, maate #Maaate dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…

@toadmeister Dear Staff - I know the the thought of working with repugnant xenophobic racists like Farage feels wrong but for the time being we’ll just have to put up with it. Sorry. I know you’re disappointed. But we did our best.

I’ve spent most of my adult life fighting against the hatred of Jews around the world. On college campuses and online I was called a murderer, war criminal, and worse… Guess what? It never stopped me. I never gave up fighting for Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish and democratic state. I will continue fighting for the homeland I love, the place that saved my grandparents as they escaped genocide, and for my people who have been abused and killed at every turn of history. So you can be damn sure that I would never let any politician, Israeli or not, now or ever, destroy the place I called home. We shall overcome 🇮🇱 Picture: Masada, Israel

Seeing a lot of myopic tweets from foreigners that miss the big picture. A few points: 1. Israel is still a democracy in every sense of the word. 2. The “reasonableness” bill that passed is not that unreasonable. It would probably pass with consensus in a normal Knesset.

@csljohnkirby @afneil The point of banking at Coutts is you are the sort of person Coutts wants to have as a customer. It’s not meant to be a secret - just exclusive. Farage as a customer must have been like having someone who always comes in with dog excrement on his Loakes.

If I was a Coutts client, I would be moving my account - Banking Confidentiality - Under English common law, a bank owes a duty of confidentiality to its customer, and it is an implied term of the contract between the bank and its customer that the bank will keep the customer's information confidential. If the CEO is briefing details, what does that say about #Leadership

Nat West CEO Alison Rose admits she was source for misleading BBC story about Nigel Farage’s Coutts bank account and says it was “serious error of judgment”. Bank’s board clearly not happy with her and says it could be reflected in her future remuneration. But insists it still has “full confidence” in her. Translation: gone by Christmas.

@Theleftorwright @GHMansfield We don’t all know what happens. It varies from person to person and depends on their underlying health. Resus may involve returning to your current state or something very different.

@GHMansfield I find the DNR questioning very irritating as well. We all know what happens when someone is resuscitated. We are a lot stronger and more resilient than people think. Most people want to live.

Hospital employee: “Do you have a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate order)? Me: “No.” Employee: “Do you want one?” Me: “No.” Employee: “Why not?” Me: “I want to be resuscitated.” A DNR is a personal decision. Extensive questioning about it is coercive and harassment.

@sammycat25 @JamesEsses You haven’t grasped the concept that in some circumstances chestfeeding does not refer to any of those things and is another way of saying breast feeding for people who prefer to call it that.

@JohnJoneses @TPointUK You’ve just described the extreme right wing twice - the difference being the excuses used for centralised authoritarian right wing control. Redistribution of resources and power from many to few does not mean authoritarianism.

@TPointUK To be frank there is not a lot of difference between the extreme left wing or extreme right wing in politics. Both want power, both would control money, both would control ideology, and both would potentially remove a democratic society reserving power unto themselves

When conservative students are attacked, the left laugh. When conservatives’ bank accounts are cancelled, the left laugh. When conservatives lose their jobs, the left laugh. When prominent conservatives die, the left laugh. When conservatives are booted off of social media, the left laugh. When conservatives are demonetised, the left laugh. When conservatives are doxxed, the left laugh. When leftists protest at a conservatives’ home to intimidate them and their family, the left laugh. While we think the left are wrong, they think we are evil. The left despise our existence and can’t be reasoned with. They have been radicalised into believing we must be silenced, as our ideas are “too convincing”. Cancel culture is a core part of their ideology. Being the ‘bigger person’ is not working, we are still losing the culture war amongst young people, with kids increasingly making irreversible and inappropriate life decisions. Leftist teachers openly preach a politicised agenda in schools, with conservative educators hounded out of the education system if they push back against the far-left mantra. Leftist agitators break the law with impunity as the police are too scared to arrest them. Marxism and communism are no longer dirty words, with these murderous ideologies growing increasingly mainstream. The only way to combat the increasing presence of this far-left ideology is to cancel the far-left from society. Their ideas are harmful, result in mutilation and even death. If you don’t believe children can be transgender, cancel the far-left. If you don’t believe we should live in a Marxist country, cancel the far-left. If you want to live in a patriotic country, cancel the far-left. If you don’t want to eat bugs and lose your car, cancel the far-left. If you believe in personal wealth, cancel the far-left. If you oppose political violence, cancel the far-left. If you want cancel culture to end, we must cancel the far-left.

@LeeAndersonMP_ Just read it. You said it - you have no valid complaint. What you’ve written here is a ramble of a piece conflating gender and sex, gender as a concept, ‘Gender ideology’ (never defined) and gender identity with issues of safeguarding and sex segregation. A mess.
