That was not a bullish close. I expect $SPY to hug the put wall at 730 tomorrow but not have any trend moves and tread water ahead of NVDA earnings. I'll have a better idea of what NVDA might do nearer to the close tomorrow. However NVDA might not be enough to save SPY with the 10 Year Yield raging. It broke out of the last resistance level standing between it and 4.885%. The gamma picture across all expiries has also shifted to a bearish lean so as of right now it looks as if the pullback will continue at least throughout the end of the week. How deep that pullback is probably depends on NVDA, but even with good earnings buoying the stock, SPY should still be looking at a pullback to at least 720-725. If NVDA eats it on earnings then we are looking at 700 or below.

$COST Today was the first Golden Cross since May 2023. What happened then? Just kept mooning and never looked back. Will it do the same this time around? Also earnings tomorrow after hrs.

$QQQ The important and deliberate qualifier here was intraday. Big sweeps came in and bought up the dip right at the 8ema and another day of decision. $NVDA ER coming. It is the top holding in QQQ at about 8.7%.

Sometimes it's straight, sometimes it's fed, sometimes it's something else. Keep it simple; mark the pivot lows and highs. See what price does when it gets there and trade along

We should federally tax Tokens at the Provider level. Not a lot. Less than 50c per million tokens. It will accomplish 4 things (at least ) 1. It will push the big AI players to optimize tokenization, caching , routing and localization Which will 2. Reduce energy usage. Saving them in energy costs more than what they paid in tax and reducing strain created by the growth in energy consumption Which will 3. Generate maybe 10 billion dollars a year to start, but over the next ten years could grow 30x to 100x Which will 4. Create a source of funding to pay down the federal debt or deploy, in response to the things AI brings that we don’t expect or don’t like At some point the models will pass it on to customers. Of course. That’s ok. Customers will have the ability to choose between providers. Or to do everything using open source models locally. Thoughts ?
