You obviously have no clue as to how it would have been beneficial to both companies as they would have become more efficient with routes, planes, and staffing. Rising jet fuel prices affected every airline, and they all raised fares to compensate, so that didn't put Spirit at any disadvantage when compared to everyone else. Their debt is what did them in.

DC and Puerto Rico would add four more Democrat Senators to the Senate, and six more Electors to the Electoral College, all Democrat. A more reasonable compromise, in the tradition of adding balanced states in pairs, would be to add Cuba and Puerto Rico as states together, while returning part of DC to Maryland, just as how part was already returned to Virginia.

@LeftyWinter Abolish the Senate too, as it was formed based on the same compromise. The Senate and the EC exists because the founders, in their wisdom, did not want high-population states to overrule the vast area of the country by running up vote totals in small slivers of the country.

When you drink, you prove your eligibiliry to drink. When you vote, you should prove your eligibility to vote. Not that hard of a concept. To drink, you just need to prove age. So a basic ID is enough. To vote, you need to prove citizenship too. Since many states give driver's licenses to illegals, those alone are not sufficient. Hope this clears up your confusion...

You don’t have to show ID to eat at a restaurant. The ID you show to drink at a restaurant isn’t an approved ID under the SAVE America Act. If the SAVE America Act was a voter ID bill, it would provide voter IDs, but instead, it restricts eligible voters from voting.
