Completely unacknowledged in the mayhem of the play, here’s Konsta Helenius EATING a cross check to the back of the head from Xhekaj. @NHLPlayerSafety

Rory on LIV fallout: “If you want to be the most competitive golfer you can be, this (the PGAT) is the place to be. And if you don’t want to play here, I think that says something about you.”

🚨🗣️⛳️ #NEW — LIV Golf’s Richard Bland discusses his future, explaining that he’s not welcome on the PGA Tour Champions. He went on to say that he hopes to remain involved with The Cleeks and will attend events as a spectator if no longer competing. “From what l've been told, I'm not hugely welcome there…. “As far as I'm aware, I was never given the exemption… I'm the only senior major champion never to get that exemption, and that's fine, I don't have an issue with that. I think the Champions Tour have made it pretty now impossible for anybody to come and play.” “I'm not going to go chasing it. I'll be 54 years old, but I'm going to be banned for a year anyway. Like you say, I got asked the question the other day, would you consider going back to DP World Q-School?…” “No. I hope that whatever we become in the future, that I can stay with the Cleeks in some form, even if it's taking the TrackMans back to the clubhouse or something like that.” “I would love to stay on board with the Cleeks in some form…. I'll come to some events as a spectator and just do the things that I want to do and live my life with my wife and go play where I want to go play. As much as I'm out here grinding and I still love that and I want to do well, but I know it's not too far in the distance now.”

🚨🏌️🙅🏼♂️ #JOKE — In an exclusive with @thetimes, LIV Golfer Anirban Lahiri laughed off the theory LIV golfers are ready to jump ship and head back to the PGA Tour: “That is the biggest joke ever. I will not name names but I know at least a dozen players who’d rather not play golf than go back to the PGA Tour.” When asked what’s wrong with the PGA Tour, Lahiri said: “I’m not going to answer because I don’t want this to be a hate thing,” he says. “I played on the PGA Tour for seven years and really enjoyed my time there. I learnt a lot about the business of golf and some of the things I learnt disillusioned me. I’ll leave it at that. “That was enough for me not to want to go back, but that’s me personally. I’m sure others have different opinions of it and I respect that as well, but to generalise that everybody is falling over backwards to come back to the PGA Tour is the same kind of propaganda we’ve had for four years.”
