@SabreUnfiltered It was seen as a delayed rebound shot where a right handed shooter shot it on the off side below the goaline. Most would stuff that into the pads. He dangled it around which is why he scored that. 29% feels a bit high but probably fair

@imralanyrx Most players wouldn’t be able to score that because it takes skill but xG isn’t accounting for skill it’s just accounting for location of the puck when it’s shot

I’m an analytics guy through and through but Moneypuck valuing the Tage goal at 0.01 xG and claiming the shot was taken from behind the goal line is hilarious. Gotta be always be a little careful with public xG models

@bestdadwalker @ClintonMikhow @PatrickMoranTB He was one of the few players who was a + on the team on defense. Not saying it means much but his metrics were decent defensively too. He didn’t really take many penalties either. And I don’t think him getting into a fight or not has much impact on his on ice play

Definitely see him being moved in the off-season. Not sure why. RFA and will be cheap, is physical and fights and don’t we like that now? Had good numbers in UTAH but hasn’t really gotten in a grove here with being hurt/nagging stuff. Still have to think there’s lots of upside.

Mike Kesselring is already having trouble cracking the lineup for the 3RD spot competing with Luke Schenn and Zach Metsa and now Conor Timmins will be added to the mix next week Maybe he’s still hurt but it’s not looking good for his future in the organization. RFA this summer
