In 2024 they lost $9.5 billion. In 2025 they lost $9 billion. At the same time they are spending $10 billion on electric vehicles and hiring expensive consultants at Deloitte to tell them whats wrong. The USPS is a mess and has been horribly mismanaged for decades. Service is getting worse, standards are lower, much of the mail is handled by contractors and the USPS is running out of cash.
This was supposed to be a mailday post. But instead it’s a @fedex can’t find my card post. Ugh. The card was overnighted from New Hampshire to me Monday. It was supposed to be here Tuesday morning.
