@KeyserSosse The very best of the very best right there. The word hero is bandied about a lot these days but they are the very definition of the word.

46 years ago on 5th May, 1980, the fine men from the SAS ended the siege at the Iranian Embassy in London. Great work chaps. Heroes and legends 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧👏👏👏

@realbedford Hard luck lads, ive seen a lot of football this season and let me tell you now, you were the best passing side I've seen at any level in ages. Spalding just a bit too savvy a physically stronger but if you keep that side together you'll probably win the league next season

One of the best games I've seen in ages, two really good sides going full at it and the pendulum swung both ways. Huge gate, hope many come bacj next season and Spalding survive next season in NL North, one league below Boston Utd.

@GayoCaesar Japanese society is a very respectful one, it would be frowned upon to behave like some of the European, African and American players do around fans

Skegness looking very isolated next season Closest trips being 1 hour 10 to Bourne and 1 hour 20 to Newark All 3 Grantham based clubs leaving the league means Newarks closest games will now be the 2 Retford clubs #nonleague @NonLeagueMaps @skegnesstownfc @NewarkTownFC
Sam Deakin@UpTheWakes

The way to early potential UCL Prem North teams thanks to @NonLeagueMaps Currently 19 teams but as always, look like a few that could move in. (3 in that Peterborough area now too?!) Lincolnshire looking sparse now!

Once again the social media black hole that passes for @bostonunited fails to mention junior level games that some of us might like to attend at new grounds. We know you don't care for us legacy fans but the lack of publicity for the junior sides is embarrassing.

There's a certain kind of comedian--Nish Kumar and Joe Lycett are perfect examples-- who are closer in spirit to the DJs of the Radio 1 Roadshow era than any actual comic.
Charlotte Gill@CharlotteCGill

Why has Joe Lycett been given a spot on Celebrity Traitors? He's not funny. He's the sort of person TV producers think the public finds hilarious ("oh that Joe Lycett!") but name me one person who thinks that. Somehow gets given travel shows too. The mind boggles.

Happy @adamproscoe day to all those who celebrate. 2011- the winner vs. Curzon Ashton in the NPL Div 1 North playoff semi-final. 2015- a stunning overhead kick in the final second of the game at Boston to take it to extra time. youtube.com/watch?v=KAk0D3…

@twin_third Saw Newark against FC at Easter and they didn't look anything special. I went thinking if Grantham lost against them the performance they put in at FC in November was a one off.

@ButlerAndy The ball spent most of the game at least 10 feet in the air! That’s clearly how The Gingerbreads cope week in week out…don’t use the actual playing surface. I agree the best team won. Newark never really had a meaningful shot in target.

Matlock Town are delighted to announce the appointment of Graham Drury as the club’s new manager ahead of the 2026/27 season. Drury joins the Gladiators following a highly successful 10-year tenure at Stamford, where he has just completed his third spell at the club. His departure was confirmed by mutual consent. 𝐀 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 Drury first arrived at Stamford in 2005 from Harrowby United and made an immediate impact, securing promotion via the play-offs in his debut season. After a spell at Corby Town, he returned in 2012 and later began his third stint, during which he delivered some of the club’s most memorable moments. Highlights included a memorable FA Cup run featuring a famous 3-1 victory over Wrexham – a result that made national headlines – followed by a tie against Hartlepool United. Drury also guided Stamford to the Northern Premier League Midlands Division title, earning promotion to Step 3, where the club consistently competed for play-off places. 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 The 2025/26 season proved challenging, with Stamford battling near the bottom of the Southern League Premier Central table for much of the campaign. However, under Drury’s leadership, the team produced a superb second-half recovery, ultimately finishing eight points clear of the relegation zone. This dramatic turnaround further demonstrated his tactical acumen and ability to inspire players when it mattered most. 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 Beyond results, Drury built a strong team culture focused on hard work, discipline, and attractive football. He developed several young players who have spoken highly of his influence, and he earned widespread respect across non-league football for his professionalism and adaptability. 𝐀 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤 Drury now brings his wealth of experience, winning mentality, and tactical expertise to Matlock Town. The club is looking to strengthen its position in the league and push for higher honours, and his appointment signals an exciting new era for the Gladiators. Everyone at Matlock Town welcomes Graham and looks forward to a successful 2026/27 season and beyond.

@LeicsPilgrim Probably don't know what colours Boston Utd wear to be fair Richard. The death of local journalism is just another nail in the coffin of this once great country. Trusted local faces who reported the facts, not sensationalisms.

@JoshBUFC @Frankie44444 @bostonunited Aye, but there were some phenomenal gates the fag end of last season, that was always going to be a tough ask to better them. They don't work hard enough to attract new fans, they need fresh ideas, probably fresh faces too , I doubt they'll act on the questionnaire though.
