My heart breaks today for my daughter. When she moved out on her own, the first dog she got was a German Shepherd. He dealt with bad skin issues throughout his life, but she continued doing the best she could for years to take care of him. Today she had to put him down.

Another point, @elonmusk. I am a huge fan of X. I even wear the swag. But, I am so demoralized I am thinking of leaving. Views are crushed regularly I can't talk to my followed peeps other than a couple of them. I have to write artificially to try and have even a chance of reach. There is almost NO organic, realistic conversation And the hopes of now growing an audience, to me, seem very low. As someone that has written anti-spam code for FB, Instagram, and Google I gotta say, your algo is destroying the motivation for people to post. It's not just me that thinks this either Also, I have done some work investigating. I have found several people with 2K or less followers posting 1-2 line posts that get 50K to 150K views on them. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? In one case it was a two line post about somewhat obscure anime that got over 100K views and it didn't even have a pic attached. HOW can a 1500 follower account make a two line post with no pic that gets over 100K views in a period of two days? There is something HORRIBLY wrong with the algo IMO. Also, also, the spam algo is identifying phrases that are similar not just the same words. So even if I use a thesaurus and idiom dictionary, I can be flagged for spam. Is this really the way you want your platform to be. Because, right now, it is ki!!ing the conversations. Yes, it is likely reducing spam, but at the cost of people feeling it is pointless to post I certainly do in some ways Not all ways But some. And if I, a person who is an evangelist for X and Grok feel that something is horribly wrong and often am demoralized regarding posting...one can imagine what is happening to the average viewer. Sure, there will be people who never even look at analytics and don't even realized they have been throttled. Fine. That DOES NOT make things OK. It's like saying well, most people don't realize their car is misfiring on a cylinder so don't fix it! That's not going to go well for the car long term. I love X and Grok. I want you to succeed. I ahve filed reports via Grok often about issues. I want to help make this place better. Seriously, X has some major issues right now.

I don’t think bots are the main problem because social media has always had a bot problem I think the main issue is not just X, but every social media company abandoned the importance of follower counts Companies now decide what’s shown instead of users with shares and follows
