It hasn’t even been a day and Vibhu is already mogging the professional hyperliquid trader Could it because Phoenix is fully onchain and has lower fees?

OK, done kicking the tyres with the @PhoenixTrade closed beta Spread on SOL is 0.01-0.02% which is CEX-tier for an on-chain venue. $SOL order book has six figures of USDC stacked at multiple levels on both sides. $1.5M daily volume and $1.2M open interest on $SOL alone, during a waitlisted beta. UI is clean. Full TradingView charting, cross margin toggle, reduce-only/post-only exposed inline, TP/SL in the order form, mark vs last price toggle on chart, and reverse trade button. Expected price, est. liquidation, margin required, slippage, and fees all visible before you submit. It feels like Bybit, not like a DeFi frontend. For a closed beta, the spread and book depth are insane. If this follows through we've got a serious contender.

.@HyperliquidX’s pitch: decentralized perps The reality: 24 validators, closed-source node code, a single bridge holding billions, and a track record of forcibly settling markets when things get spicy. @PhoenixTrade Perps on Solana: 1,500+ validators, open-source and build-verified smart contracts, no bridge, non-custodial, gasless, and composable with the entire Solana DeFi stack. One of these is decentralized trading. The other is a managed venue with a blockchain attached.
