@Michael_L_Rauch @AndyZeGerman @Tesla @cybertruck Yeah, it’s gotta be a software update. I had one weird issue a month or so ago. When when I took it to the service center for another item, they agreed to replace my PCS with the latest hardware. Seems to me like it’s a software related issue that triggered it.
English

Been an epidemic of PCS failures on @Tesla @cybertruck . Question is what changed recently that so many are getting this failure? Was there a software change that did something? Seems odd that it’s hit so many at varying mileage & usage recently. 🤷♂️

Gave up the ghost completely this a.m. charging at home! Pcs 💀📐
English

@briandstone I’ve charged up them a ton. They are probably the most expensive charging stations overall. They haven’t maintained them as well as the Tesla network, but overall they do work pretty well. Also, they have great amenities.
English

We are going on a road trip tomorrow and my Lucid navigation has both charging stops at Pilot Truck Stop locations. I had no idea they had their own charging network, peak 350KW. Should I give them a try? pilotcompany.com/ev-charging
English

@Michael_L_Rauch @rhensing Yeah, good point and that makes sense. I’ve had one pre-ordered for the last couple of years, so I’m pretty early on the list. I think my wife will absolutely love it.
English

@ByTesla237 @rhensing Think R2 will hold value for a while just do to production restraints for Rivian near term. Rivian is going to sell everyone they can make till Georgia comes on line. Think more like early Model Y resale values as more people will want than can get.
English

Rivians aren’t real trucks. The perfect 2 car solution is a Plaid and a Cybertruck. 😎💪
Michael Rauch@Michael_L_Rauch
Perfection! @Tesla MS Plaid 1020 HP & the @Rivian R1T Gen 2 QUAD 1025 HP. These are my @KentuckyDerby entries for horsepower & the ultimate two car solution! ✌️
English

@Michael_L_Rauch @rhensing Yeah, I was thinking maybe just purchasing a Rivian R2 to add to my Fleet of vehicles for now. Then add a gravity later when prices come down a bit. Yeah the Rivian will drop in value also but much less of a hit.
English

@ByTesla237 @rhensing Makes sense financially. The EQS is a ton of vehicle for the price you got it at with a great warranty. Gravity pricing will continue to go down over time.
English

@Michael_L_Rauch @rhensing As I watch your updates from the lucid gravity, I keep thinking about getting rid of my EQS and buying one. The challenge is that my EQS was such a bargain and I have an unlimited mileage warranty through early 2029. Not sure but I may wait until some used gravity hit the market
English

@Michael_L_Rauch @rhensing We’ve kept both. Love them both. We’ve had our R1T since around September of 2022. Probably one of the best vehicles ever. Amazing company and product.
English

@rhensing I owned both a Cybertruck & two Rivian’s, kept the Rivian. The R1T is better in every way over the Cybertruck. But enjoy your CT if you love it. ✌️
English

Congrats to another Rivian buyer!! I'm sure you will LOVE your new vehicle. They are amazing!!

@brandenflasch I’ve owned quite a few Tesla vehicles. My current cyber truck has almost 30,000 miles on it. It’s 16 months old. It only has 2% degradation. Yes, the 4680 are terrible in a lot of ways but best battery in terms of degradation that I’ve owned.
English

@brandenflasch 100%. I wish all my vehicles had 500+ miles on a full charge. It makes road tripping nearly effortless as that point.
English

More range is more flexibility. No one is saying you have to drive 400 miles without stopping.
Eric Tastad@ZevCyber
Them: I don't want 435 mile EPA as my bladder can't last 7 hours Me: 435 EPA is about 320 miles at highway speed. 70% of that I actually use is 224 miles, or less than 3 hours at highway speeds. In winter it is even less. I typically drive 240 in a gas car. I hated stopping every 75-90 min in the 3.
English

11% to 54% in less than 17 minutes. I would say that's pretty good charging on my 2023 EQS 580 SUV. 51+ kWh dispensed in that time. Love Alpitronic chargers! @MercedesBenz @alpitronic

@Michael_L_Rauch @Tesla @Rivian @LucidMotors Yeah, it was tough to pass up. There’s quite a few things that disappoint me though and it’s simply not S class quality in general.
English

The more time goes on & all the EVs I’ve experienced one thing is becoming very clear to me is that the 3 U.S. startups @Tesla @Rivian & @LucidMotors are offering a much different & better experience than others. These are the best EVs in my opinion. ✌🏼

English

@Michael_L_Rauch @Tesla @Rivian @LucidMotors Yeah hate some materials and capacitive buttons. I agree after having multiple S class sedans. Got some software updates and it’s ok overall but not great. Got such a good deal though - $57500 20k miles. 18 months old. Sticker was $144k. CPO car with warranty thru 2/29.
English

Things like start buttons & laggy software hurt my experience with EQS. Waiting 5 minutes down the road for Spotify to load was annoying as well. Coming from an S Class I was disappointed with some of the materials in it as well. Capacitive controls should be banished along with all piano black.
English

@briandstone I bought just a little bit more of the stock, but unfortunately, it continues to give me pause on purchasing one.
English

The stock just doesn’t match the product. The Gravity is the most comfortable, quietest, overall best vehicle I’ve ever had the pleasure of driving. Surreal Sound Pro is better than any sound system I’ve ever experienced. It is an absolute joy to drive. The early software issues are completely solved, in 1700 miles I’ve not had a single software glitch.
When (if) the day comes it can drive itself, it would be the perfect vehicle for me for any situation.
