This is out of control. I know he's a stupid MAGA chud and mocked the death of Renee Good, but he's like a couple orders away from a heart attack. Gluttony and sloth are both sins and he needs to change his ways. PRAY FOR BEN BANKAS 🙏

@Rightanglenews Lab grown meat is, like meat from cloned cows, more expensive than regular meat and it does not make sense to mix it in with regular meat. She just bought shit meat.

A woman bought tenderloin steaks from her local Kroger and, upon further inspection, found that some had the consistency of Play-Doh, being incredibly malleable and able to be squished flat with little to no pressure. I want real food back.

@yung_radiator @Skooch I fully understand what you're conveying, it doesn't stir any emotion. I'm not interested in living in a world with "empathetic" abusers lecturing me or their worse enablers, I just happen to.

>Choose blue because I’m a smart person >Check news to pass time as I wait for results >President is a pedophile >Racism is at an all time high >Health care corporations are killing people to save money >War is happening for literally no reason >AI is replacing every job there is >Results are in >Red wins >It’s exactly what I wanted >Blinding light leaks into the room >Smile as the MrBeast Death Ray blows my shit to smithereens instantly

Everyone on earth takes a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press? BE HONEST.

@carbeeDM @nosilverv It doesnt even make sense from a game theory perspective tbh. Blue winning is the optimal outcome for everybody.

@AmyLove91172704 @MachDominus Your life would be on the line regardless. You would not press the blue button, you are a liar. I hope the twitter virtue signaling points make you feel like a better person than you are

@terminallyOL It's not life. It's a poll. And the first thing I heard is a physicist say they would lie about blue. BTW, Blade Runner was a society obsessed with empathy. They used tests to retire replicants that were arguably more humane. This is all supposed to be complicated without hate.

well if the redditors solved it
CeladonAstrodon@CeladonAstrodon

@esjesjesj How are people still talking about this? It was discussed on reddit like 4 days ago and solved. Red is the right choice. When a malicious/ignorant actor enters a prisoner's dilemma, Nash Equilibrium is the correct play.

@Mr_Guy_Person @terminallyOL Its not the kill yourself Button. Its the " i trust people will not choose a worse future because they fear other people will choose a worse future" Button. Its the prisoners Dilemma with no reward for talking.

@terminallyOL Pressing the kill yourself button only in hopes that everyone else presses the kill yourself button so you don't die has nothing to do with a high trust society

@Afrofrycook @IndignantDoll @GoodPoliticGuy @xplanetv I have read it, i just believe its bullshit. You absolutely do have an impact on the outcome. As big as everybody elses. Again, noone is actually incentivized to press red. Blue is the default choice, deviating from it is idiotic.

@C0l1m @IndignantDoll @GoodPoliticGuy @xplanetv You asserting something is rational and self-interested doesn't make it so. You haven't demonstrated sufficiently why someone will significantly risk their life for a functionally irrelevant influence on this vote.

@Afrofrycook @IndignantDoll @GoodPoliticGuy @xplanetv The scenario of 100% of people pressing red is as unlikely as 100% pressing blue. Red winning makes the world measurably worse even if you live. I do not believe that the majority of people is stupid enough to not realize this.

Nope. From a game theory perspective, you choose based on what's in your control. Whether blue or red win isn't relevant to your individual vote. You're less than a fraction of a percent of a rounding error. Functionally speaking, your individual vote is irrelevant to the outcome. A vote for red gives a higher likelihood of survival, which is the gain that you're missing when you said there's no benefit to themselves. Red will win and everyone who votes Blue will die. If you think Blues are better people, it would probably be best for them to vote Red anyway, just so we keep those perspectives and/or genes around.

@SuhSpence99 @IamJMKS @GoodPoliticGuy Game theory is concerned witrh people choosing for themselves. I would agree with you if the outcome for pressing red was the same (from the perspective of self interest) regardless of if red or blue won. But it isnt. So i disagree.

@C0l1m @IamJMKS @GoodPoliticGuy No, I believe it is necessary, but I mostly believe that no matter the optimal choice, fear of not knowing how others will behave will effect a huge amount, if not majority of other people’s votes. Most people do not “game theory” they choose for themselves

@C0l1m @IamJMKS @GoodPoliticGuy We have a different perspective of this scenario. That’s fine. I inherently don’t trust a global vote, you do. This will not change, our fundamental views are too separate and that’s okay
