@401_da_sarpanch This incident should also spark a huge investigation into trucking practices. Truck drivers are forced to do long hours without proper rest. Especially by all trucking companies that are South Asian owned. This makes the driver incapable of good driving resulting in accidents

WELL I was assaulted by a schizo homeless guy today in Toronto. I was walking to the grocery store when he started stalking me. I tried to get away from him but it didn’t work. He grabbed me, pinned me against a fence, and then tried to break my hand to steal my phone. Three people passing by helped save me. The police were quick and kind, but the officer I spoke with told me this guy had been arrested for attacking people repeatedly in the past month, and “fair warning, a judge will probably let him out by tomorrow morning.” 🫠 lovely system we got goin on here folks

There are many items still in existence that counteract the claim that medieval England was completely backwards. The British Museum’s citole (Museum number 1963,1002.1) is a rare, exquisitely carved musical instrument dating from 1280–1330, likely made in England for the royal court. It is the only surviving medieval example of its kind, featuring dense, intricate boxwood carvings of hunting scenes and foliage, and was famously converted into a violin in the 16th century. The immense detail is beyond many people today. Certainly a bit of food for thought. ⏳️
